Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Avondale

The drinks are always good. The staff on the other hand not the best as I read in the reviews they do like to stand around and ignore you. One person in particular I have no clue what her name is but has shorter hair has been rude to me in the past by just sitting there with her arms crossed chilling when I was ready to order and then after she finally decided to take the order she then flips the tablet over and walks away with almost a disrespectful way of it. Then recently as a doordasher I tried to pick up an order via drive thru which I have done before. This same lady that works there said we can not pick up orders there and have to go inside I told her well I don't see that policy and informed I have got an order this way before and asked if it were OK to just pass me the order since no other customers were waiting. She said not come inside or leave in a disrespectful manner. I spoke to her manager/supervisor and she claiming I was rude when of course I was not. I simply asked what's the reason to get off if no one is here in line and I did not see any policy posted up anywhere. So she took that as rude when her very own staff member treats customers with disrespect. The staff needs work or they shouldn't be working there at all. It would of been great to have gotten that employees name to make a formal complaint on her. The manager did overall take the time to hear me out and informed me she would talk to her employee, but I won't know if that will stand or not as I had already left. You want blackrock coffee, go to a different location for it and maybe the staff...

Normally, when I go to the Black rock coffee bar on Dysart near my home, it is an extremely pleasurable experience. The staff there are very welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. I only have one major complaint at one point I ordered at this location through DoorDash. They sent me a notification saying that my order was ready for pick up. I had requested a what a coworker and expressed to them that I needed to stop and get the coffee the coworker informed me we were running late and we didn’t get in at a certain time we would not be able to work that day . I assure them that the order was ready and showed them new seat that I had from DoorDash upon walking into the café and giving my name they informed me owe your order is not ready yet. They have not even started my order I had to wait in additional four minutes for my order, which might not sound like a lot to you guys but that four minutes disqualified us from working that day so we had to go home losing an entire days of wages. When I found out that the order was not ready, I attempted to cancel it telling them that I had to leave and did not have time to wait. They assured me it would not take too long to get the order ready now I am not too upset with Blackrock employees because they do not understand the situation I was in, but I am still upset that DoorDash I was told that my order was ready for pick up when it...

black rock drinks are so good and the service at these places are usually good but today (09/19/2023) i went through this line at around 2:30 and the girl at window was so rude. she didn’t even acknowledge me when i drove up and said the total was going to be $$$. i then said “oh can i give you my number for the app” and she didn’t reply and i sat there quietly waiting for a yes or even a nod. after a good chunk of silence she said whats your number. then after i paid, she handed me the ipad as usually to tip and pay. i typed in a tip of $1 and then the page proceeded to the signature page in the middle of me signing it, she turned the ipad back towards her… without even acknowledging i hadn’t even finished signing. fast forward a bit… (it gets even better yall) she hands me my drink and it literally had sweet foam coming out the cup as she handed it to me, which spilled EVERYWHERE, and she saw and instead of saying anything she proceeded to walk away from the window.

i don’t know this girl and i had never been to that specific location, so i don’t know what i did to upset her. the drink i order was pretty broad as it was just a “large ice surprise fuel with sweet foam” and i order this often so i read it off like that. idk if i did something wrong with this, but i’d def just check on this employee because she obviously isn’t happy...
