Galen’s Fresh Food Market — Local services in Bagley

We moved to the area 8 years ago and have done as much of our shopping at this store as we could, but most times can't find everything we want, which is understandable for a small store in a small town. After our visit today, we will not be going back to Kubiak's. The checker appeared to be new, and did an acceptable job, but the woman who was bagging and helping her was too busy visiting with her friend to be of any real help. When asked the price of an item, she responded with a price, followed up by "I think". No attempt was made by either employee to verify that price. The bagger stood by the carryout cart, but made no attempt to put any of our groceries in it, nor did she offer us help in taking our groceries out. She was obviously too busy to do her job, and we weren't worth her time! When we got home we had broken items due to her poor bagging efforts. We live 20 miles away, so going for a replacement is not...

Stopped in last evening to purchase last few items of WIC. Brought items up to the counter, 16+ dollars in fruits and Rice Krispies cereal. Ran the WIC card and ended up paying for the WIC items because, as two of the girls who were working said. It’s hit and miss sometimes the WIC cards work and sometimes they don’t “. The older employees don't seem like they know what there doing, it is very lacking in customer service. There parking lot is horribly plowed and it seems like the owner really doesn't care about the place. I highley recomend going to Galens just down the road if you can.
