While the Village at Shirlington is undoubtedly a fantastic place to spend time, I did find the crowds and occasional congestion to be a minor inconvenience. It's a popular destination, especially during peak hours and weekends, so a little patience may be required. However, the overall experience is...
Read moreShirlington is a great place to have dinner and to go to the theater; The signature theater is an on the edge really great venue to see almost any play and they are always producing new and better plays. The parking is dicey and I advise you to pay attention to the signs, because they will tow your car if you're in the wrong place (especially by the hotel). mass transit is not good to get to shirlington because it has no metro stop and you have to use a combination of metro and buses. I usually take a car and drive. They're a lot of good eating venues and you can't go wrong with almost any one of them. there's also some construction going on because they're building a big CVS drugstore. shirlington is a nice safe and comfortable place to hang out eat shop go bowling or go to the theater (they even have a movie theater) and I hope you'll have an opportunity to go there and enjoy what they...

Also, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, don't eat on the patio at Dudley's or Samuel Beckett's as many people smoke on...
