The Color Bar Salon — Local services in Ball

When I first visited this salon a few years ago I was very satisfied. I got a full head highlight and cut and style. The cost was around $100, typical for a full highlight. However, the next time I went it moved up to $120 for the same thing. Perhaps their prices went up? Ok sure, I was still overall happy. The next time I went, I was so excited because salons had been closed due to the pandemic. All I had was my hair dyed brown and trimmed. She charged me $120 again. I was shocked because dying your hair one color, no toner, and minor cut is $60 max. I asked what brand hair dye it was, paul mitchell, which I can get for $8 at walmart. Anything over $120 should be multi colored highlights or hand brushed bayalage. I dont know why my prices continue to be outrageous but I havent gone back since. If it's just dying my hair I can do it myself...

Great salon! Went for the first time this past week for a haircut. My old hairstylist retired so I was nervous to have someone new cut my hair, but Shonda did an amazing job with it. She was super friendly and listened patiently to what I wanted done. She told me ahead of time what sort of maintenance I’d be looking at (I’d never had bangs before), and she was very meticulous about making sure she got everything straight. I’m so happy with the haircut, and prices were reasonable too. I will absolutely be returning once it’s time for another haircut, and I’d recommend it to anyone...

Used to love this place and used it for years, I had to cancel my appointment so I called to let them know I wasn’t going to be able to make it ( never done it before ) I was told before they will rebook anything I have to pay $75 for them just to book me. Meanwhile the stylist I’ve used has constantly moved my appointment time around or straight up couldn’t do it the day I needed it done after it was booked already. Not to mention everytime I go to get the same exact thing the price is always different I will not be using this...
