I have started and stopped this review several times, only because I like two of the office staff. However, this place is a nightmare and I hate it here. 1.Everything is broken, from the washer, still running water down the back of the wall. My downstairs neighbor came upstairs when I first moved in to let me know water was running on top of his refrigerator. Maintenance came to pull the combo unit from the wall to snake the issue, after I complained several times. All the two maintenance workers did was reap the cheap flooring in the kitchen. 2. The air conditioning doesn’t work, but it running hard all the time, all day long. It’s always 76 degrees in my apartment. 3. I am presently dealing with a mice takeover. I saw one run across the bathroom carpet as I prepared for work one morning. Scared me to death. I most certainly did tell the office staff. They assured me that pest control, comes every Friday. Lies. I’m up early, wide awake, because I heard a mouse scurrying underneath me as I lay, sleeping. Now I’m up paranoid with my flashlight, just to go to the bathroom. 4. My bedroom ceiling leaks when it rains. I reported that more than twice now. The first time, maintenance used this foam substance to try and stop the rain, clearly the rain continues to drench the carpet by my window in several places. The second time maintenance came by they spoke Spanish to one another, assuming that I couldn’t speak any other language besides English. Silly rabbit. I wouldn’t even allow you to be in my place, if I had known you didn’t have an actual license to do contact work. You’re no more than hired, cheap help. 5. Packages are missing from the mailroom. We receive countless emails about everything, but nothing of upmost importance to inform us about this and that. How about letting the carrier drop the packages at the unit’s. The packages are no more safe in your secured mailroom, than they would be, if they were left by our actual mailbox or front door. 6. My car was towed, even though all my proper paperwork was submitted to the leasing office. The contractual towing fat guy is outside lurking around peoples cars, early over in the morning. He Almost caught himself a hot one. It’s dark and early over in the morning. I’m going to protect myself. He’s weird and they are coming up on fast easy money, snatching cars. $370 fee - $400 withdrawal, from the atm outside the nasty lady’s office side window at the towing yard, is the starting retrieval fee, depending on when you realize they have taken your vehicle. 7. This new management team and remodeling might have appealed to many others just like me, but it’s sad to throw your hard earned money away. More and more gentrification is happening and the environment isn’t homey anymore. Jewish community my foot. I’m sure it pains them to have so many unhinged people in what is suppose to be a nice place to raise their family. 8. It’s 3 am and there is a child or young adult screaming down the hallway. I specifically asked to be far away from others, when I moved in, unless I just had to have a neighbor in the unit, next to me. The old carpet was dirty and scary, but this new cheap laminate floor allows sound to echo down the hallways. These project spring hinged doors is all we hear when someone arrives at their door ā€œSlamā€œas they enter. 9.The kids are getting bored with summer and the pool just opened, two weeks, before school starts. 10. I usually try to be grateful for what I have, but the winter is coming and I’m glad that I don’t have to be out in the cold. However, nothing about these conditions seem right or fair. Where is the health department? What about a noise audience. Why the heck are we paying BGE the astronomical amounts of money, knowing, as I heard the lady fussing at maintenance the other day, the vents have mold. My kids and I spend the majority of our time in the living room, because, it’s the only area, cooling. 11. All in all my last apartment management might have been a nightmare, but this place that I now call home, isn’t any better. 1-2-25 We have mold.

Please take this information as you will: -Moved in end of sept. 17’. There has been no hot water 3 times. During the week days! N while it’s 40 degrees or below. -Lost electricity maybe 3 times or more was not home enough to count! -leasing staff and property manager just tells you what they think you want to hear. -after requesting that maintenance doesn’t show to your apartment without you being home. They allow them show up anyway! Without your presence. -Interesting enough, while I’m home, maintenance/ pest control never shows. However, when I’m not there. I alway expect them to arrive. And I’m right every time. - you will hear your neighbor/s (ex. Something like snoring!!! ) -office staff refuses to assist. Told me they understand ā€œit’s annoyingā€. But live with it!! -received random notice that I would have to pick up my mail from the post office bc they want my name displayed on the outside of the mailbox. For safety, I was alway informed never to to this! In additional, is this even legal?!!?!? They maybe picking and choosing who they would like to rent from the leasing building 6310. Which appears the be the best looking building here. N smells good too. -oh laundry haha it’s a joke... the dryer doesn’t blow heat. So, you clothing is cold from the dryer. And the washer doesn’t wash well, so your clothing is still dirty. Plan to always go to the laundromat! I made the biggest mistake renting from here. I’m in HELL until my lease expires. I’ve consider breaking my lease (but they are asking for a 2month but out) at this point, I’m seeking ways to pursue legal actions. Rent/electricity/gas is at a high cost (especially here ) to be living so uncomfortable.

Honestly if you are looking to move here don't, unless you are FINE WITH SHARING A LIVING SPACE WITH MICE! First the office and management is unprofessional and unreachable 95% of the time. I have contacted the office several time about the mice infestation no solution. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY LEASE COME AUGUST. This is honestly one of the worst properties I have rented at. They KEEP DELETING MY COMMENTS INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE SITUATION OF THIS MICE INFESTATION. I wish i was able to upload videos of the mice making noise all day being stuck somewhere in the walls its really disgusting

Okay. My family and I just moved in. We picked up our keys in the middle of September. We completed our move this past weekend. We just went through ordeals with our last 2 landlords and decided to stop renting from private homeowners and try a corporation/apartment.

The day we picked up our keys (and locked ourselves into a lease) we got trapped in the elevator for over 30 minutes. My mother, my 2 children ( 1 who is a toddler), my husband and myself along with 2 other resident who just so happen to be moving out, were all trapped in this hot, tiny, old elevator.

We had to call the rental office on the phone to let them know we were trapped. They sent the maintenance property management team... not an elevator specialist. The rescue attempt did not go well... after 25 minutes of them trying...I panicked and called 911. I panicked because we had to call the rental office twice before anyone arrived and the elevator had no credentials. There was (still is) a blank rotten marquis where the elevator's certificate should have beeen. The 1st information the 911 operator requested was the elevator's certificate number.

Ten to fifteen minutes after the 911 call, just when the fire department arrived, the workers were able to free us. Needless to say, we wasted that day. The only apology we received was the one over the phone when we initially reported that we were trapped. That was a very poor start. Now the little problems are piling up. I have to take my move in checklist to the rental office and I have anxiety about how it will be received. Nothing was done in this apartment the way it should have been done for a new tenant accept new carpet and fresh paint.

I woke up this morning to a mouse running across the bedroom floor. We have reported 2 issues that have received no attention ( clogged toilet and mouse hole). Now I'm sitting here waiting for the office to open to discuss the checklist and all the issues. The issues: mold and rust on shower wall and floor painted over dust and dirt caked into air vents (some are completely non- functional) large mouse hole in closet several broken fixtures closet door off track cabinets hanging by 1 screw Instead of fixing this unit they clearly just painted over everything. It's a problem.

The representative, Tereza, who helped us with our application process is very nice and helpful... but nice is not what we paid for. I leave this review in hopes that it will prepare the next potential resident of this community for what's possible around here. The community is beautiful, quiet, and a place I will be stuck at for the next 11 months. I also hope this review sends the message that my family and I are serious about our expectations for this apartment. Living with rodents is a health and landlord violation. I hope that things will turn...

I usually do not do this but I felt that someone had to speak up. This complex is literally the worst complex that I have ever lived in. From start to finish my experience was bad and I truly do not have anything good to say. They rushed our place to be done when we moved in and quite honestly it still was not done. We were requesting maintenance left and right and still never getting permanent solutions to things. I stayed there for a year and in that year my air and heat never worked. It was as if they would come and put a bandaid on it so it would be okay for a few days and then stop again. Majority of the summer we had no air but they wanted to send us notices about other things while i'm suffocating in my own home. The winter was freezing and again it would get fixed for like a day or two and "break again" and no one could ever figure out how to keep it working. We called emergency maintenance for certain things and they legit would not come and we only called them for things that were actual emergencies. My boyfriend literally stayed up all night one night waiting for them to come or at the very least call and nothing. Had he not stayed up our kitchen would've flooded and things would have been way worse than they already were. WE NEVER GOT A MAILBOX KEY. I have email threads of me asking them when we would receive at least one and they would keep saying they are coming and we never did get one in the 12 months that we had lived there. We had bugs EVERYWHERE!!! Ive never had bugs before but here they ran the place. It was as if someone came in and just released them one day. It was to the point I felt uncomfortable living in a space that I was paying for. They had pest control coming in randomly and I swear the bugs NEVER went away. The leasing office is slow to respond or they just don't respond at all lol. If I had to chose to live there again i would not and I honestly wouldn't encourage anyone else to live...
