They were so kind and generous to do the Special Olympics. Our sons are SO athletes and Unified partners. Recently had a drilling appointment for my husband's new bowling ball. Our Christmas gift to him. Thomas was patient, knowledgeable, professional, reassuring, and dedicated to ensuring the quality of his craftsmanship and my husband's satisfaction were prioritized. As a spectator, I couldn't have dreamed how much actual work goes into creating a custom fit. I thought: just ring-size each finger, then drill a couple inches in. Nope! The science, math, engineering, and kinesiology involved is impressive. I thoroughly loved watching the whole process. I enjoy watching professionals ply their trade with care. Thomas really seemed to care from start to finish. I wanted to take a video, or pictures of the process, however I was uncertain if Thomas was camera shy, or if policy forbade it. So I restrained myself. It may sound odd, but it was an experience I will treasure for...
Read moreI went here because this is where the Special Olympics Bowling Game and practices were being held, which my daughter participates in. The outside gives off a dive bar vibe and any single lady with half a brain cell would not feel comfortable going in alone or meeting someone there for the first time. When you first walk inside it's not much better. The "game room" if you can call it that has a broken coin machine so I had to get change at the counter, so that I could play pool with my son which cost 1.00, not bad but they only had seven balls so we didn't even get to play a full game. The soda machines also did not give me change. To be fair and completely transparent I did not complain or let them know so they didn't have the opportunity to make it right. And I think these issues are simply a lack of maintenance which considering covid can be understandable. My daughter had fun bowling and the practices help improve her score and ultimately that's what...
Read moreNot bad, pin placers and ball return racks are antiquated. The place could use a spruce up, new pins/machines and maybe a better group seating area. All seats are pointed toward the alley (I understand this, but it makes for a very inconvenient time to socialize if that's your goal) seems more geared toward a serious player, if they had better machines I could agree to that, but with the lower quality machines and readily available bar, it seems better for casuals but not set up for the social aspect. I'd only suggest to "pick a lane" if you'll pardon the expression. Management is polite, very helpful and ready and willing to please the customers. Good people with good hearts. That makes the experience for me. Thank you for a good experience! I'd like to become a regular but Id need some upgrades for...
