Acadia Towing — Local services in Bar Harbor

First off they advertise on their website that they are a AAA Primary Service Provider. Which is false because they refused to tow my car unless I paid them directly. Yes, they towed my car but took them over an hour to get me because he took the "long way" into Acadia National Park. He took my money and yes did provide me a receipt. It unforourtanly got lost between Bar Harbor and South Portland Maine with the rental. I contacted the company and asked several times for the to please send me another one. I was told multiple times to email them. Never received a email back until I reported them to the BBB. Also they claim they take pride in customer service.. which I find...

They will say their going to ve there but never show. When u call they shrug it off like it's your fault. We prioritize police calls sorry. Was very disappointed on what I witnessed a frien go through. My friend also had them on speaker and to hear how rude and uncaring the guy was is just wild. Again I did not get the tow a friend did. Hate to write a bad review, but when they take your car (Cadillac CTS) off the truck and under the front bumper was CLEARLY damaged, and the driver immediately goes to default “that was there before. We didn’t do that. That’s rock damage” Lied right to my face! Totally disgusting way to do business. Even the place I had it towed mentioned “tow guys do that???” Call them for a tow, be sure and take pictures before they get there....
