I would have given this little store a nice review. We were the last customers on a Wednesday evening and had a very nice cashier who allowed us to finish our shopping even though it caused her to be a little past closing. However, my opinion changed after my 14 year old daughter selected a gen stone necklace, only to discover it was broken when she opened it. As I said earlier we were the last customers, so Thursday morning as we left to return home, we stopped back to exchange it only to told very rudely, "ALL SALES FINAL" it was a $4 necklace that a 14 year old girl used her own money to buy. We spent almost $100 on stuff that we really didn't need but wanted souvenirs from our trip and the fact that a young patron couldn't exchange this cheap necklace is absurd! The fact that it couldn't be exchanged is one thing but to be talked to so rudely and unprofessional was upsetting as they ( a man and woman, the owners perhaps) spoke mostly to her. When we return to the area, as we plan to, we certainly will take our...
Read moreStopped here and made a few purchases; however, when I asked if they had a restroom I could use they very rudely replied "No". I even said I would not have asked if it was not an emergency but the answer was still "No" which was an out and out lie obviously since I am sure they do not work there all day without having a restroom. The proper response would have been "yes, we do but it is for employees only." I just found the woman and younger male working to be very rude. We were never even asked if they could help us with anything. All the store really has is a counter of some jewelry, a wall of minnetonka shows and a section of rocks and gems amongst minimal other items. Not worth the stop especially given the rudeness of the employees. I give it a zero but I could not post without at least a one star. A half mile down the road is shop called "The Pickle Barell" which is well worth the stop. I am not local, so just...
Read moreI would give a zero if I could. My grandson was heartbroken today because the three adults that are fully vaccinated were told we needed masks. If you had asked we all had are cards on us. Of course you can purchase them from the store at $2.00 per mask. Your sign in the door is a riddle. Say no mask, do not enter! I am retired from healthcare and my daughter and son in law are nurses. We betcha we were going to make purchases. Your loss. We will...
