Hyannis Golf Course — Local services in Barnstable

Played on 8/27/25 with my son and best friend. The staff were very friendly as were the other patrons. Pace of play was 4 hours with an 8:33 tee time. A fourth was added to our threesome at the first hole and he was friendly gentlemen who knew the course. And boy did he help us with guidance!

The course is well maintained with smooth greens (they could be a little faster). There are some very interesting holes and a good mix of tight, positional holes and long par 4’s. The layout is hilly, with uneven lies but a fair course!

The price was $59 with a cart - a bargain for Cape golf in August. The only downside was the clubhouse was closed as it is still being refurbished.

Absolutely amazing place! Course was in great shape, staff was extremely respectful and helpful. Grabbed a delicious lunch at the turn, and had phenomenal service from the cart girl, Kelsey, and her dog who she had assisting her. Course was in pretty good shape. The downfall to our round came when we we returning our cart. The cart return boy gave me two options “Clean the cart yourself or I clean it and you tip me” when I proceeded to say that there was no reason to tip he said that our whole group of 36 golfers were cheap.
