This place is amazing. I entered as a stranger and left treated incredibly well (like family!) by Pete and Robin. The store is chock-full of everything from recent popular fiction and non-fiction bestsellers to rare collectible books that you couldn’t even find online. Bookshelves are full and books overflow onto every nook and cranny imaginable. I even scored 3 volumes of Washington’s war era writings that had been donated by author Nathaniel Philbrick. I also landed a top-notch edition of Philip Schaff’s 8-vol church history.

Meh. Tons of books you can get lost here if you're looking for an unobtainable book or to kill some time here's the place. You will PAY for it though, some of the books are priced like Signed first editions for just a regular earlyish printing. One example was a book priced at $~90 which can be found elsewhere for around half that.

The owner also seems a bit judgy and full of themselves but one can expect that when entering a house filled with books from top to bottom, maybe the owner is more of a collector...

Grew up here and been to every bookstore on the Cape. Isaiah Thomas is the best and it’s not close. A huge selection - I could spend days here and not feel like I’ve seen everything. I have never left empty handed, and usually leave with something different than what I was looking for. Plus you can’t beat used bookstore prices. I really encourage you to check this place out.
