Shaver's Creek Environmental Center — Local services in Barree Township

I went there one day to reflect on life because one of my horses suddenly passed away. I was flabbergasted when i saw a couple of staff members hitting squirrels with pickle ball rackets while encouraging visitors to join in. When i approached them and suggested they stop, the local police were called to escort me off of the property. Luckily the law was on my side and told me that they get complaints about the center constantly. Apparently prostitution is a big thing there as well, according to local law enforcement. I decided to just leave when i noticed that someone had keyed the hood of my car with racial hate, i guess because my spouse and I are a mixed couple. Shame on you, Shavers Creek...

This place is amazing! The facilities are super clean and state-of-the-art. The raptors on display are fabulous and give children a close-up view of these large, captivating birds rarely seen so close. The staff is helpful and friendly.
