Indian Ladder Falls — Local services in Barrett Township

This was a great hike, and since it’s out and back, it’s as long as you want it to be. Technically it’s for lodge guests only, but there was no one else out there so we were okay. We parked in the gravel lot where Dutch Hill Rd meets 390 and started the trail across the street. We took the trail to the left with signs for alternate Trout Stream Trail. Great hike for people of all ages! The flat path is only a mile long to get to the beautiful Indian Ladder Falls. Great in all seasons where in the summer it is nice to dip your toes into the cool weather and in the winter you might be able to see the falls frozen into icicle beauty. Lovely falls complex with a number of smaller cascades along either trail leading to the falls proper. Trails are well-marked and about a mile in length.
