I brought my iPhone in for a screen repair on an otherwise functioning phone. Upon picking it up on a Friday, I noticed the Face ID didn’t work. No big deal, I can live without it. Then it wouldn’t hold a charge, connect to ATT’s network or Wi-Fi. The phone had been ruined. I brought it back that following Monday. That was in September 2021. It’s now April 2022. I spoke briefly with the owner, in January, who said he would speak with his employee because he was unaware of this and said he would call me back. I waited 2 weeks, no phone call. I have emailed the owner and the “info” email. I have called and left messages with their answering service. I have only been able to speak to the person who “repaired” my phone. He assured me that I would receive a refund for the $270 they charged to fix the screen....

I brought my computer in because a hinge broke on my laptop and pulled out my wifi wire. I told them what was wrong with the computer and exactly that. They called me back and said it would require a $75 diagnostic fee to figure out what needs to be done. I responded with that I already know what needs to be done and no diagnostic will be required. I had a tricky issue that involved moving information from the PC environment to the MAC environment that should have been easy but was not; one technician here spent a significant amount of time trying various tricks, and when he hit multiple road blocks, didn't give up but researched some supporting software, downloaded it, figured out how to make it work, and finally solved the problem.
