Mayo Clinic Health System - Northland in Barron — Local services in Barron

The first time i came to this clinic in Barron, WI. Took off work a whole day to go to appointment. Called the mayo number (no direct number to Barron clinic) to find out where to go. I was told a specific parking lot. So i parked there and all doors were locked. Called the number again, to be told a different entrance. (Still can't speak directly with the clinic) again, wrong entrance. By the time I was able to get to the correct door, it made me a whole 4 minutes late. They turned me away. My appointment was for a 1 hour time frame, why is 4 minutes of MY appointment time affecting them? If they were running late, it would be ok. What kind of clinic doesnt allow you to speak direct.? They made me late. Now i am out $180 for missing a whole day of work plus about $35 in gas to get there. Not to mention that the receptionist laughed when i told her i was given wrong directions, she took my insurance card and ID and said, at least we have your information for the "next time" and pointed to the scheduling desk and told me to...

I have never felt so small and unheard I went in last thursday for cramps im 22 weeks pregnant, they did a urine test because i had a some burning after urination, it came back with no infections but they didn't tell me there were crystals in my urine at all I found out today as I developed really bad back pain I called had me do another urine test and blood test my white blood cells were elevated and I had blood in my urine I have had a kidney infection once before and it felt exactly like this I was not bring heard I was ignored and i have been crying every since I called 1130 in the morning and I had to push for the antibiotics and finally got them by 7pm I'm in so much pain I called and called and called and was told more tests were bring preformed on my urine when they already had done all the tests they could do I have very disappointed and hurt by the way I was treated if the right testes were preformed on thrusday this probably would not have happened I can not describe the worry I feel for...

The staff I had interaction with was SUPER SUPER NICE & VERY CARING!!! They follow ALL covid19 procedure. I highly recommend coming here for any and all health needs. Although this time I was a visitor, I personally have been treated here. In fact, many years ago, they acted quickly from calling 911 the ambulance service picking me up, arriving at hospital and fast acting Dr. that was on call, (his name I will not divulge for his privacy), saved my life sending me to Luther Mayo via helicopter to give me a life saving surgery. I have also used their services for many years at different times throughout the years. The only reason I have ever used other services is because of where I live. Thank you to all staff past and present. You have the hands of angels. May God continue to bless everyone who works here and anyone who needs care.
