Save An Angel's Pet Wellness & Spay/Neuter Clinic — Local services in Bastrop

Save An Angel and their staff are absolutely OUTSTANDING. I used them a few months ago to neuter my rescue puppy. Things ran so efficiently with that process, and the price is so much better than most other veterinarian places in the county.

I recently called Save An Angel,somewhat panicked, as I tried to get a Pyrenees/sheepdog vaccinated as well as have them work on dew claws that had grown so dangerously long that one was embedded back into his paw. Cassandra answered my call and was so friendly and diligent and found an appointment for me the very next day to take care of this situation. (Thanks Cassandra! You don’t know how much you calmed me down.) When I arrived with the dog for the appointment, I was met at the door by Cassandra and Kicki who took the big pup from me and began to check him over diligently. This gorgeous pup was oohed and awwwd over by all staff. It was immediately obvious that I had brought this “Pyr” to the right place. Ashley took over with things and made sure that the dog was given shots and a heartworm test, cut the dewclaws, and had him placed on antibiotics for the dewclaw situation. Ashley connected with a rescue group in Houston who I was working with, and the bill was paid by the Houston group. I plan on bringing all my pets to save an angel. Our community is beyond fortunate to have such a group working at this organization. The veterinarians are great. The office staff, as well as all the vet techs and assistants are also superb. Prices are so much better, and the treatment of your animals...

Sooo happy to find this gem! I have two outdoor kittens that needed to be fixed. Our family Vet. charged an astronomical amount that we simply could not afford. My sweet friend from work told me about Save an Angel and I am forever grateful! Cannot say enough wonderful or compliment enough about how great this company is! Extremely clean, superior customer service and prompt! The incision on our female kitten looked amazing and it has only been one week & already looks healed! They have had zero problems. I don't have enough words to accurately describe my experience with Save An Angel! What a top-notch perfectly organized group of individuals. But more impressive than their incredible efficiency and professionalism is their genuine care and compassion of the animals. Every step of this process, the pre-op paperwork that left morning check-in flawless and quick, having a # to call and check on my dog during the day (even while he was in recovery), and having access to the staff post-op to share any concerns, photographs of the incision, any bruising, and get immediate feedback all totally exceeded my expectations. 2 individuals need recognition:Cassandra and Kikie...amazing in their attentive care...
