I have been patronizing The Jeweler's Shop for over 20 years since it first opened in 2003. Paul is an exceptional artist and craftsman. I have trusted him with so many repairs, re-sizings and purchases. I bought a stunning Tanzanite and diamond ring for my daughter-in-law from one of his own designs. I had an entire one inch extension recreated for a 7" bracelet (now 8") that had exceptional diamonds and sapphires. He matched the stones perfectly and was able to mold an exact replica of the bracelet links. Now, just recently, my son needed to have an engagement ring ASAP and he literally got it all together and shipped to his home in 3 days time! The ring was PERFECT and Paul's personalized attention and willingness to prioritize our request was so appreciated. I had a dive watch serviced by this place and the first time getting it wet after the service was performed, it stopped working. I don’t know if it was the fault of Paul and his “watch guy”, but I reached out to Paul to explain the situation. He was rude and unprofessional and wouldn’t let me get a full sentence out before cutting me off and arguing with me about how it wasn’t their fault. He got upset and raised his voice, and when I asked him why he was upset he started to argue that point with me too. I told him he must know this isn’t the way you treat a paying customer and I said I wouldn’t be doing business there again. I would never treat any of my clients the way he treated me and I won’t be returning to this place again. I can't say enough good things about Paul & my consistently good experiences at The Jewellers Shop. I've had Paul create pieces from family heirlooms & from inspirational images. Every time it's amazing. He's done plenty of repairs, appraisals, watch batteries, and mundane work but always with professionalism & expertise.
