Overall - I'm not impressed. This restaurant has good potential -- and they just opened, so I'm certain there are some "growing pains" but the food and service do not meet the cost. I will try it again after they have had some time to work out the inefficiencies. Cleanliness - was satisfactory. They appeared understaffed and so the table next to my party (like butt up literally next to my party) remained unclean until we were well into our dinner. Not a huge issue but again the prices were of a high end restaurant so I expect the service to match. Service - our waitress and her assisting waiter were very nice. The waiter in particular seemed genuine and efficient but the lead waitress was also nice. They were clearly over worked and as a result were slow in service and inattentive. Again the waiter (maybe was in training) came to the table more frequently. Food - the food was average at best. My entre was missing an ingredient and it was served to me afterward in a separate dish. Again, that's 'new restaurant' stuff and forgivable but upsetting considering the price. The appetizer of Ahi Tuna and Avacado lacked flavor. The salmon was well-cooked but over seasoned. If I was at BJs Brewhouse or Applebys I wouldn't think of it BUT when menu items cost $38 and more, I have a higher expectation. I did not want to try the dessert after my experience with the appetizer and entre. Drink - awesome wine selection and there's a full bar. This part of Pitchfork looked great and seemed to run smoothly. Ambience - everything is trendy and well coordinated. It appears like the Twisted Olive, but has a unique flare. There is outdoor dining. The tables are small -- great for intimate conversation BUT there's a metal ceiling and loud atmosphere so a person has to shout to their guests even with a small table. The plates are enormous and did not fit on the table. Despite the large plates, the serving portions were small and decorative like an upscale restaurant. I found it confusing whether or not this place was an upscale restaurant or a gastro-pub or a wine bar with fancy food??? Some things need "straightening out" (full staffing, prices, definition of the theme, etc.) but there is good potential.

To start out I’ve been here a few times ordering several different things off the menu. Different occasions with friends, family or a fancy dinner date. And I can say from all of these experiences is that the staff are always accommodating and lovely to deal with. Their employees are top notch. I’ll start out with my first time there. I took my girlfriend for a fancy dinner date. We were dressed the part and order drinks, appetizers and dinner. The appetizers we ordered two things, the tuna tartar and the cocktail shrimp. The tartar was good nothing wrong with it, and the shrimp left a little to be desired. The first shrimp I had must have been around from the night before or something. I was very close to gagging and spitting it out. I found it to be kinda old and foul. But it was the only one outta the 4 we had. The rest were great. And on this date we had going, I ordered the shrimp roll, served cold with a special spicy creole dressing. I honestly don’t know how this bad boy made it on the menu at such a nice place. The sauce was pink and the bread was definitely older. This thing was a site to see. When i saw other people have this infront of them, they just picked the shrimp out and left the bread. It wasn’t just me. I would highly advise changing the shrimp roll or outright take it off the menu. It doesn’t reflect the other elegant offerings on the menu. Next visit I had the burger. And holy moly was it delicious! With the rosemary fries it was a killer. This burger was so good I came back the next week with my girlfriend to order that with her. I definitely understand that it’s a new restaurant and tweaking the new menu and new changes to make the experience better for your customers. Some changes need to be made however this place has a great atmosphere in or outside. Be sure to make a reservation if you wanna go there for dinner on a weekend cause they will be packed! We will continue to come here and enjoy a more elegant dinner for many years to come :)

Really, I want to give two stars, but it wasn't quite that bad, but just barely so. The problem here is the prices in relation to the quality of the food. The presentation was fine, it's the flavors that are just falling short of the mark and, for me, most of all the temperature of the food. Tepid is the word that comes to mind with everything. It all seemed plated cold and slightly warmed to me. My wife says her curry dish was a lot like curry dishes she had made at home in taste, her couscous was refrigerator cold. Maybe that's what they were going for, but it didn't go over well. The best things on the table were the drinks. The grilled carrots weren't even hot or warm again tepid. The grilled broccoli was dry and tough and a bit over charred. The dessert I got was the seasonal baked apples at $16, and the best thing on the plate was the custard. The apples were blah. I cannot in a good conscience give this place a four- or five-star rating, and the three-star rating is a stretch. But I think the two might be a bit harsh. So, a three it is. The location (building) is attractive. I didn't make it to the restroom so I cannot speak on its appearance or cleanliness level. The main dining area is quite nice and inviting, clean and very nicely decorated. The service was good, the manager came over and spoke, I couldn't bring myself to be honest about the food with him though. The waitress was helpful, attentive, and prompt. They are just about there except for in the most major of areas given their area of service, THE FOOD. For a cost of just shy of $300 for two with tip (which is a whole different conversation, I won't get into here) again I cannot recommend this establishment. I first saw this business on Instagram.

Yooo! Hey there 👋

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. So this was actually my second time here. My fiancé and I went there once over the summer and had an overall good experience.

Here’s what you need to know…. Please remember that this is a new restaurant. A place like this will easily take 2 years to get the kinks out.

So the restaurant itself is cool. Nice building, good vibe, looks like an ideal date night spot.

The bad for us was, well, the food. Specifically the steak. Both my fiancé and I ordered the filets and asked for them to be cooked medium to medium +.

We got the first ones and hers was well done and mine was cooked great but covered in salt like someone took the lid off a salt shaker and poured it on a great piece of meat.

We both sent our steaks back and we both understand that a filet can be tricky to cook.

We told them to put our new steaks in to go boxes because we had to get home to the kids. They did, and I’m glad I thought to myself “let me cut this open here Incase it’s bad. Welp…. It was well we’ll done. I cut opened my fiancés and hers was well done too. Extremely disappointed, they took one steak off the menus and said we could take both home. We did, and I cut em up for the dogs. The bad news was that they only removed one from the bill, so I fed my dog a $60 steak.

On the flip side, the drinks were great and the charcuterie board was tasty. The service was very mid for fine dining, but it was also a Friday night, so the place was jumping. My moms food came out missing half of the condiments she asked for and we asked our waitress to put my mom and dad in my bill. Turns out she put them on my sisters bill and I didn’t find that out until today (I thought the steak I was paying for was hers, not mine)

Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. I wanted so much to love the idea of this restaurant right across the street from my house whippin up meals from locally sourced farmers. I ended up having my family of 9 being upset that I picked the wrong place for our holiday get together.

The bottom line…..

I’ll try it again, but I’ll probably wait a year. I’ll let them figure out their routine and hopefully they can run like a well established reputable restaurant. If they don’t figure that out, I’m positive it will cost them.

The atmosphere is great, the drinks are great, the charcuterie was great, but definitely overpriced. I don’t think I’d ever order steak from there again though. Here is the steak at my house as I cut it up for my pup. I’m glad he really enjoyed it, because he’s worth...

Dining at Pitchfork was a culinary adventure that exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Erik. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with its rustic decor and cozy atmosphere setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Erik greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor, immediately making us feel welcome. His professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for his work were evident throughout the night. He took the time to introduce himself and inquire about our preferences, which made us feel well cared for.

Erik’s extensive knowledge of the menu was impressive. He patiently guided us through the diverse selection of dishes, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. For starters, we opted for the artisanal charcuterie board and the roasted beet salad. Both were exceptional, with the charcuterie board featuring a delightful array of cured meats and cheeses, and the salad being a refreshing blend of flavors and textures.

For the main course, Erik suggested the grilled lamb chops for me and the pan-seared halibut for my dining companion. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a flavorful herb crust. The halibut was equally superb, with a delicate, flaky texture and a delicious citrus beurre blanc sauce. Erik’s suggestion of a robust Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with the lamb and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc for the halibut was spot on, enhancing the flavors of each dish.

Throughout the meal, Erik was attentive without being intrusive. He ensured that our glasses were always filled and that we had everything we needed, all while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. His passion for excellent service truly shone through, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

To finish off our meal, Erik recommended the house-made chocolate mousse. It was a decadent treat, rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect ending to an outstanding dinner.

Overall, our experience at Pitchfork was extraordinary, and Erik’s exceptional service played a significant role in making it so. His attentiveness, expertise, and warm personality made us feel like valued guests. I highly recommend Pitchfork for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience and look forward to returning, hopefully with Erik as our...
