Meadow Swimming Pool — Local services in Bay Lake

This is a large, family friendly pool within the Fort Wilderness campground. The pool has a water slide, a hot tub, and a gated area for smaller kids. There are many chairs and quite a few tables surrounding the pool area. There is also a fairly soft snack bar and rest rooms. There are lifeguards on duty all around the pool and supervising the slide.

The smaller kid area has a playground that leads up to two small water slides. My 1 year old was able to maneuver this area with some help. It's probably best suited for kids ages 2-6, but older kids might enjoy it as well. A parent must accompany all children in this area, which helps keep it from getting rowdy and overrun with older kids.

I think the pool could benefit from more shade. They're seem to be only a few umbrellas. I think some large sun shades covering certain areas of the pool deck would be a huge...

Love this place!! Super fun water slide, kids play area, hot tub, large pool that is not deep anywhere, plenty of seats to lounge, ping pong tables and pool tables, and a snack stand with adult beverages and lunch choices. Loved that a staff member came out and did a trivia game! We had so much fun as the "hot tub team" answering questions to Disney and Pixar movies. The lifeguards are so attentive it makes you feel comfortable letting your child out of your sight for a moment. Can't wait to visit...

It's not the sand bottom of Beach Club or great looking as the Polynesian. But it's big, has a water slide, plenty of seating, and one if the nicest campground pools you'll get to be in. Snack and drinks available for purchase. Staff plays games with the kids. Parking for golf carts in...
