I’ve been going here for years. It’s always been a positive experience. Unfortunately, my latest and last trip was not positive. The woman checking my mom out ahead of me, seemed to add a dollar to everything she added up. I don’t mean she added tax, I mean she said everything she had was more than it was marked. $4 was actually $5, actually that says 50 cents but it’s supposed to be $2, etc. A few extra dollars to a good cause, no big deal. We kept quiet. She said out loud dresses were on sale today. It was my turn to check out. I had a dress, marked $4 and it was “on sale”. As I was checking out, she did the same to me- adding dollars here and there. She counted the dress $4 it was marked, another lady said “what is that?”, I said “it’s a dress”, so the one checking me out goes “oh well then that’s actually $5”…… the dresses were on sale as you said…. And you’re charging me more than the tag? Again, it’s not about how expensive it was, it was still cheaper than other stores. I don’t mind the donation of a few extra dollars. It was the lying and feeling of being scammed that left a bad taste in my mouth. Which is the ONLY reason why I would leave a review for others to read about a place like this, with otherwise good reviews. It was the volunteer checking us out, who seemed to charge us whatever she saw fit rather than the prices marked that compelled me to leave...
