Right as coronavirus hit my daughter wanted to go skating we have a small skating rinks in Bedford call the moon glow so we took her one time before everybody was housebound and she loved it so there's not very many things to do in Bedford for children or adults for that matter unless it's a bar so we can hope to move though and she has a blast then coronavirus hit we find out that it has been reopened and my daughter was so excited that we started going again she still is rough on skates but we can try to make it to all the special to events like Halloween was awesome Eddie had the kids in Halloween costumes Thanksgiving they had one Christmas that had one looks awesome as tonight was New Year's Eve party they had a balloon drop with prizes inside of the balloons and also I found out they have skating lessons what's her cheap 250 or lesson plus a dollar fifty skate rental twice a week so I will be getting my daughter skating lessons and the rule is if she goes to school is gold good always long we get to go back skating the people there are extremely friendly there very conscious and very safe and it's not really I would say for the music what'd you expect they do a lot of different music from all these two new but it's very well thought out very well pick for children being in the building their food is good is decently priced but with the lack of volunteers it could be a long wait time but it's worth the wait and that's my opinion have a nice day if you want to have a really good time on a Friday night starting at 7 until 10 p.m. for $5 per kid ain't that includes the skate rental of course and parents that are not skating do not get charged to come in the building and sometimes if if a parent comes in with a child as they don't have to pay for the skate rental which is a dollar fifty have a happy New Year and hopefully I'll see...
Read moreThe staff is very friendly, however I have quite a few issues with this rink in particular.
My BIGGEST issue by far is the lack of A/C; it is constantly at a temperature where I'm sweating even just standing still.
There is no skate guard, or anyone at all watching to make sure rules are being followed. It is an extremely common occurrence here to have a child cut directly in front of you without looking.
To finish off, I understand that this is a hockey rink, however the skating floor is unreasonably dirty and bumpy during public skating sessions, and their music selection is quite lacking.
I would not recommend skating here unless it really is your only option, it just doesn't live up to the standards that literally any other...
Read moreThe reason I don't give this place a 5 star, is the amount of unsupervised children, or crowds on the skate floor collecting around a child that needs help learning. Other than that: the people were kind, the floors were smooth, they had some fun but otherwise confusing events. As a rollerblader with almost 8 years of skating under my belt, I loved it. Although they were understaffed the night I was there and the kind lady behind the food stand was doing her absolute best and very...
