I met Lowell and his family in May 2015. We were on our way back to IL after I was here for a job interview. Never been to a Baby Lock dealer before and I love to quilt so where there is fabric I will make my husband stop!. Anyway, we found the shop to be a little small and crowded but exceptionally nice folks and very patient. He was willing to trade up my Brother sewing machine for a new Baby Lock. I told him we didn't intend on taking it for a ride....we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, graduation (both my hubs and I graduated) and a job interview. Long story short, we moved to Pennsylvania as I accepted the job as a nurse practitioner in Hyndman and have made Bedford County home. We've been in several times to visit. I have a hard time making my mind up and I had narrowed my choices down to a Baby Lock Destiny and the Janome 15000. I finally told my hubs, "it can wait until next year". Before Christmas, my hubs Jim came home with info on the Destiny----he said he had a surprise and saw Lowell demo the Destiny for him. He really liked what it could do. He said "let's do this together as the offer was good until Dec 31st". We went back and spoke with Lowell and his daughter Michell who teaches classes there and we made the decision to trade in my favorite machine and get the 60 month financing. I LOVE my DESTINY!!! I visited this store during Shop Hop and really liked the pattern they offered. I wanted to add to the pattern to accommodate my king size bed and called to buy the kit with the additional fabrics I needed. In a few days they called back and had everything ready to ship out to me and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the neat way the fabric was arranged - even numbering the fabrics so I used the correct one where I was supposed to. And a few pieces of candy to boot! I wish I lived closer to this store. I look forward to a return...
