Bridgewater Plaza is a beautiful location on the lake. Many restaurants and stores. (Call in advance during the winter to make sure store hours.) During the summer, as far as we're concerned, it the place to go. Great for kids during the day and night life picks up at dawn. There are several restaurants and stores, boat rentals, and you can buy popcorn 🍿 to feed the fish. Ice cream, or Pizza what's not to like about. Watch the boats come and go. And even has a rooftop minature golf course( Call first for price and hours) over looking the water. It's a fun place to be, a great central location and plenty of parking. ( Parking gets crowded during concert nights in the summer.) Located at the Hales Ford Bridge which is an amazing Bridge to cross by Auto if you want to see a stunning breath...

Be aware that on weekend nights there is usually an outdoor band for the large outdoor bar, and it can get pretty loud. However, I take my daughter all the time with no real issues as long as you are paying attention and can steer them away from the drunks that have left the bar. The bar itself does a really good job of keeping it under control though, and there are lots of staff. Overall a nice stop, and really the only place at the lake that has more than just one thing to do...
