Farha Sports Centers (Andover) - Greater Wichita YMCA — Local services in Bel Aire

First time visiting this place and I am very impressed, is a really big place but very organized and easy to navigate and find out where you want to go. Staff members were very attentive with everyone and very patience with all the kids since we were there in a basketball tournament with around 75+ kids running, playing, and ordering food and drinks all day long, besides that they managed to keep the place stuck up on everything, and the entire facility was clean and rearranged every time they need to without having to asked them to do so. I am very impressed with the this place and looking forward to visit them again. By the way my granddaughters basketball team won the tournament, we very proud of all of them for the amazing dedication, progress, and wonderful job they did. If I could rate them a 0, I would. Andover YMCA and Andover Farha is one of the most poorly run facilities in the Wichita and surrounding area. From the rude, incompetent, know-it-all-staff to the ridiculous “rules” that are initiated with no regard for the individual, the Y is failing our community. Scheduling tends to get double booked and over laps. The ymca doesn't respond back to coaches and we end up practicing at a secondary location that we have to pay extra for. This will be the last season I put my kids through the ymca. Update. Director doesn't answer the phone and the coach just called my wife and said they no longer have room for my daughter when there's 2 games left. $65 plus a $20 jersey...
