As a traveler and as a person who is VERY picky about her sweets, the sheer TALENT of this bake shop is AMAZING! This is a custom shop. These very sweet folks who run this shop will try to accommodate your cravings and have daily specials in bakery and candy delights! I picked up their berry turnovers today and I am so very impressed. I can honestly say, it was the most fresh and tasty turnover I have ever experienced. Exactly the right balance of filling to pastry and the blue, ras and black berry filling was the PERFECT balance. The pastry was PERFECTLY turned layers and fluffy and they did not cram hunks of (in my book) unwanted sugar hunk toppings. A turnover should stand on it’s own. I've eaten a lot of key lime pies in my life, from coast to coast, the one that Ozark Candy made for me was the best I've ever had. No joke. Even after freezing it for a few days and then thawing it the pie was fantastic. It wasn't sickly sweet like some pies can be and the gluten free graham cracker crust (that I ordered for my dietary needs) held together wonderfully and was delicious! I cannot say enough good things about Ozark Candy Kitchen! The turtles, toffee, honeycomb, chocolate covered marshmallows were all so good! She also went above and beyond to deliver to us on one of the craziest rain storms we've seen all year. We are already making our list what to order next for...
