My family and I have been going to this store for almost 4 years. My daughter and her family as well! If you are looking to stretch your food budget, this is definitely a place you want to go! There is a little bit of everything for everybody! You CAN afford to buy premium meats and feed your family well! He even carries pet food, toiletries, laundry supplies etc at deeply discounted prices!
Be warned: it is possible to become ADDICTED this store! You may shop there and in the afternoon he has new stuff you would have liked too! We even bought a small freezer to house the "goodies"! Oh, and did I mention that with each 100 dollars you get a free set of sheets or blankets and bamboo pillows if he has them?
There is a facebook page where he lists new items, and randomly gives away items. I have received potatoes, carrots, cookies, cereal, eggs along with boxed goods as well! ALSO: he does take foodstamps.
The Owner: James is a wonderful man who truly cares about people and the community! His staff is OUTSTANDING! They are helpful to a fault! My husband works near there and I will often send him with a list....when he gets there he usually calls or video calls and hands the phone to someone working there! Always a pleasant experience! James has sent pallets of food to diseaster areas in need. I simply cannot express how wonderful this store is!
I am including pictures of groceries I purchased and the total cost was just over $100. Yes, all 3 pictures totalled...
Read moreWhen we initially pulled up the outside of the store was not inviting. I was a little nervous to walk inside. They do have a wide variety of items. Most of the dry food is nearing expiration. Not everything is priced at liquidation prices. I found many things only priced about $1 less then in regular store prices. The best deals I found were in the frozen foods. That's where you'll get your money's worth. Didn't have any need for household products. At checkout out the lady just added stuff up in her head as she bagged (didn't even look at the prices listed on each item) I didn't think I had over $100 worth of items but apparently that's what she rang me out for. I didn't care much at the time. But something to watch out for. Good news is, if you spend more then $100 you get something for free. So that's cool. Over all, in my opinion it's worth it for somethings but not for all things. Definitely stop in and...
Read moreI have been shopping at TCK since it first started in a small storefront in the same plaza where it is now located on the other side. This place truly offers some of the best deals around; you cannot beat the prices on frozen meats, canned goods, pet food, snacks, or beverages. TCK consistently outprices Walmart, Save A Lot, or Aldi any day of the week.
The store is almost always well-stocked, and the owner, James, is a beloved local figure. He keeps his customers informed via Facebook/Meta about upcoming specials, whether they are happening the very next day or in a couple of days, which is great for planning your shopping trips.
TCK is always clean, the employees are friendly, and the prices are unbeatable. They also accept EBT, which is a significant benefit for many customers.
I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to spend less and get more. Check it outâyou wonât be...
