Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Belleville

I bought a safe from this store. Upon getting it moved in I discovered it had several problems, the lock didn't work properly, part of the fire suppression had fallen out, the door didn't close tightly. June 2, I called the store to see what could be done. I asked to talk to the manager, the "team leader' said no manager was available. He [team leader]said there were no other options than return it or exchange it for a new one, "it's like a piece of clothing" he told me. This is definitely not a piece of clothing.... I called customer care and told them of this issue that same day. It was deemed by the customer service department, that a partial refund would be made. The store manager was infuriated, and told me flat out to my face that the corporate office was not to tell him how to run "his" store. I was floored by his statement this is the worst experience that I have ever had with a retail company in years. I called the manufacturer of the safe, their warranty department claimed the damaged fire suppression and issue with the lock was caused by improper storage, they are all outside in the weather covered by cardboard and plastic drop...

I called on the phone before driving to this location because it is a long ways off for me. I asked if they had womens or unisex denim overalls in stock to the associate on the phone. She sounded so confident and told me they were in stock to be purchased today. So I drove here, and there are none. I asked the girl at the check out if the overalls were anywhere else in the store. She said nope those are it. This is the second Tractor Supply Co store I have driven to today, all promising this product and no one providing it. Not only is this companys ability to convey and provide stock, their associates are not able to walk 20 feet to confirm that I am not wasting more gas and time. There was no apology for this oversight from the girl at the desk. This is just amazingly poor. Please do better for the other people...

I purchased twelve 40 (forty) lb. bags of pellets for my rescue cats. The lady at the cash register was very nice when I asked if someone could bring and load them for me. Because I had a hip, knee and serious shoulder surgery, I try to avoid heavy lifting if possible. (I am a 59 year old female) A guy came and started to load it in the back. I opened my mini van on the side and asked if he please could put half of it in the front so the weight will be distributed evenly. He continued loading and rudely replied that if I want it in the front I can move it myself. Maybe he had a bad day....
