Hannegan Speedway — Local services in Bellingham

Hannegan Speedway is Old School Motocross and Off-road. Run by the almost century old Mouny Baker Motorcycle Club, the place has been here for decades. It is common to have multiple generations racing at the track from Grandpa on down....a true fun family outing. Hannegan also opens for practice on occasion.

The MX track has great dirt with various obstacles except big double and triple jumps. There is also a woods course and a flat track.

There is a concession stand and beer stand that has local brews on tap.

We came to this place for a West Hare Scramble race. We gave $100 billion for a $30 entry. They gave us $10 and 3x$1 and folded it to return it. We realized it after the race when pulling the cash out to pay for McDonald’s. So we went back to tell the staff the mistake that had been made. When we expressed the concern, the IMMEDIATE response was “we didn’t have $1’s this morning” (we entered at 11am when the gates opened at 7am..) the two larger darker haired ladies working at the entrance should have REALLY made the...
