Our experience with Maynard's has been awesome! I first called their Piedmont store and spoke with Alderman, who was very helpful in answering all the questions I had about a leather recliner that I had been looking at online. He texted me pictures and gave me pricing and sale information and also told me about another color, the one we were looking for, that was located in their Belton location. Thank you Mr. Maynard for your friendly and helpful responses to me. When we arrived at the Belton store, we were greated by Todd Collins. We explained what we were looking for and he helped us to find the right chair and then spent time talking to us about the the features and quality of the chair we were looking at. We never felt pressured, rushed or like we were being told what we wanted to hear, just to sell us the chair. It was a very pleasant buying experience! Thank you Todd, you made the whole experience fun and you gained our trust. The chair was delivered to our home on the day and time that they told us it would be, and since it was at the store, we got it in 3 days. The delivery guys, Chad & the other man with him, I'm sorry but I don't remember his name, were friendly, efficient and knew what they were doing. I'm only giving two stars because Cristine is a wonderful sales lady. My wife and I found a Flexsteel couch and loveseat we loved and ordered in March. We had to wait until the first week in June to get loveseat, and then we were told the couch would be in around the end of June. When the loveseat was delivered they told us the couch would not be available until mid July. After 2 days of use the loveseat sank on one side and we contacted the store, were told to send pictures, we did and the manager (Blake)told us on the phone there was nothing he could or would do for us. We called Flexsteel and told them what had transpired, and they gave us the phone number for the company that does warrantee work for Flexsteel. Called back to Blake and reminded him our furniture is under warantee and we wanted it fixed. He told us he made arraignments for the repair, they would have to pick up the loveseat and have it repaired at their store. They picked it up and delivered it back 3 weeks later (and told us the couch would now be here Mid-August) and it seemed better for 1 day, The next day it sank in again. I called the company that does the warrantee work and found out that there never was anyone from their company sent to Maynards to repair it. A few weeks ago at a friend's home we remarked how much we loved her La-Z-Boy recliner. We said we were going to get one for Valentines Day and we're going to go to the local store to get one. She said not to go there because we could get a much better price at a furniture store over in Belton called Maynard's. So last Saturday we drove over there to check them out. I'm a High Point, NC native so I've seen my fair share of furniture showrooms. Maynard's displays were easy to access and designed very tastefully. That's especially important to me as I'm in a wheelchair. We were looking for a replacement for a loveseat power recliner but we really wanted a sofa. We found the item we wanted and arranged to have it delivered. The delivery personnel were very efficient and polite. The delivery was on time and they took special care with our purchase and helped us remove our old piece of furniture. The next day I wasn't as satisfied as I thought I wanted to be so I called the store and spoke with Alderman Maynard and told him my concern. He was exceptionally helpful and allowed us to exchange the piece for one that we had been leaning to instead. I'm Not a problem. He did everything we needed to satisfy our choice and we're extremely pleased with his quickness and making sure we were happy.
