I rarely write Google reviews, but I wanted to take the time to write this one because of how great Bubba’s Bait Stop is. Of all the shops in Fort Worth—especially the fishing shops—Bubba’s is by far my favorite. It’s a family-owned business run by Bubba and his wife, who are both as kind and genuine as they come. Whether you’re an experienced angler or brand new to fishing, Bubba meets you where you are—no judgment, just generosity. He’ll take the time to teach you, show you how to rig your bait, and even tell you exactly where the fish are biting.

When I moved to Fort Worth, I wanted to get my kids (then 4 and 6) into fishing. We found Bubba’s, and it instantly became our Friday tradition. My boys adore him and now ask to go to “Bubba’s Bait Stop” every week. His minnows are the best in town—healthy, lively, and they always help us catch fish. You can see the proof in our photos!

Great place for selection and great service. I drive out of my way to support them They carry a large selection of standard bait but also include exotic types at cheap prices. Also a great selection of tackle and all the fixings for your tacklebox . The owners are super friendly and great folks to talk to, in fact, all that work there is super great.
