EDIT: I do not recommend the nail tech named Mandy. I went to her a few times after Tony left the salon. What a mistake. She filed my natural nails with unseasoned sanding bits and left deep, painful gouges in my nailbeds. I stopped going because I left her chair with sore and bloody cuticles every appointment.

I only discovered the terrible damage she did to my nails when I soaked off my acrylics. My nails are now weak, tender, and my thumb has a bacterial infection ("greenie"). I have NEVER had an infection after acrylics, nor have I had such extensive damage to my nailbeds.

Mandy needs to be reeducated. Less time yapping to coworkers and rushing through manicures, more time spent making sure she doesn't maim clients. Very disappointing. Who knows how long it will take for my natural nails to recover.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was immediately greeted and offered something to drink by the gentleman at the front desk.

My nail tech, Tony, was very gentle and did a beautiful job on my nails. The shape and length were exactly as I requested. He encouraged me to look at the gel polish in the bottle to make sure it was the color I wanted. I did not have rough free edges or any “fuzzies” under my acrylics when he was finished.

I left with my cuticles in tact and not once did I experience any pain, heat, or burning from the tools or products used. This is important to mention because I have had plenty of bad experiences at different nail salons in the Omaha area. Cut and bleeding cuticles, burned and gouged nail beds, sloppy application of products, rough technicians—you name it. None of that was an issue at Bennington Nail Bar.

Overall, a dreamy experience. I...

The nail bar was very welcoming and was an absolutely gorgeous space. I had called ahead to schedule my appointment and confirm the design I requested could be done. The design is shown in the picture with the light green bloom nails with the chrome and gems, along with two pictures of what I received . I had asked for that design, just without the gems. I had confirmed the bloom and chrome design with my tech and once she was done with the bloom and top coat, she had thought she was done. I reminded her about the chrome I asked for and asked if she could do it. She agreed and told me it would be an up charge which I was okay with. When she did the design she used only a silver polish and I was under the impression it was a powder which may have been an error on my end but I feel as if what I received was not like the picture. My natural nails lay flat yet the tips that were applied laid upright at an angle which is not preferred and was not noticed til after I had left the nail bar. I am not angry at the staff there as they were all very nice, I just feel there was some error in communication that should be made aware of to future customers so they are able to leave satisfied with their experience, especially when someone is paying a higher amount of money (I paid $90 +tip) for a design they were told could be...

I have debated posting a review since I have left this salon because I’m not one to bash a place based on one bad experience. I went in for a builder gel refill and I had a pedicure scheduled. I walked in with almond shaped nails and had 2 requests, keep the length and keep the shape. Both of which were changed. Each nail seemed to look different from the others. I had asked for white chrome to keep it simple and requested clear builder gel since my regular nail tech does a lot of designs where clear is needed. The builder gel that was used was white builder gel. She did one finger, cured it, and when I said something the response I got was “too late”. She attempted to put chrome right on top of the builder gel with no polish. My appointment total was 2 hours (I did not get the pedicure). After about 5 days I had 2 nails lifting. I had reached out to the salon 3 times about wanting my money back so I could get them fixed elsewhere and still have yet to hear back from them. For the price I spent I expected a little better quality or customer service. Luckily a was able to find a good nail tech in the Omaha area to fix...
