Longhills Golf Course — Local services in Benton

The friendliness of the staff is the one and only positive. Truly, they are always awesome.

It's not enough to get this above 1 star. This is the worst golf course I have ever played. Greens are 50% sand. Played a lot of ground under repair today.

Course was aerated at some point and the dirt pellets were left in place. So every tee box you're kicking dirt pellets out of the way, trying to find a decent place to stand.

Grass very sparse. Have to play the ball up everywhere.

Design is terrible, as well. Extremely narrow - course fit into housing development and not enough room existed. Results in unreasonably narrow holes. Additionally, trees blocking lines to the fairway and even to greens on par 3's. They need to cut a ton of trees down to make it play properly.

Bunkers contain a thin layer of dirt.

Greens, where there is grass, run anywhere from 6 to 8 depending on the green.

Really, the whole course needs to be shut down, renovated, reseeded, and reopened. Or just shut down.

And please get rid of your stupid no walking rule on the weekend. That's ridiculous. Manage pace of play. It's not about the greens fee. I don't want to wreck my back...

I'm the TEETIMETRUCKER, and I play Golf all across the Country and I must say that this Course is in HORRIBLE CONDITION! The Layout is fantastic, but the condition of this Course is SAD! I read the reviews before I went to the Course, but still decided to go because sometimes the reviews can be WRONG! But in this case they wasn't wrong. Some of the Tee Boxes were so hard, you couldn't get your Tee in the ground. And the Fairways were like hitting off of BRICKS! And if you were in the Rough, it was mainly rocks, and dirt. If you want to play here for practice........then fine! But if you enjoy the Game of Golf, this Course will upset you! Especially when you get to the Greens and see the condition they're in...........just chewed up!!!!! And the majority of the Greens are like that! So for $42 this 18 Hole Course is not Worth it, take your money...

First golfing experience in 10 years give it take. To sum it all up " My group had a great time. And I'll be back!"

Cons/Small critique A few holes/greens had a lot of goose poop and one hole in particular had more poop than green.

There was no sand in the sand boxes at the Tee's. I would have loved to help keep the course nice by filling in my divits.

No ball washing station anywhere

Only 1 water break area.

Three of the greens had as much sand as turf.

Pros Decent price ~40$ this was for 18 holes and a cart shared

Friendly staff, fast and proficient

Close to little rock and no membership needed

Decent mixture of terrain sand water obstacles

Fairway and rough were well defined
