Unfortunately, in case there are any people still not aware, Holiday bowl fun center has once again closed it's doors for business about 3 weeks ago. I don't believe, unless someone steps in like a previous owner, Howard Johnson, that it will ever survive as strictly a bowling center. Major changes need to be made along with major renovations. Other attractions need to be added instead of just bowling. Not only has the surrounding community failed to support it, but the entire bowling community, including every other center and 95% of the league bowlers of the Birmingham area, have failed in a big way to support and invest in the center. There was once a time I thought the bowling community as a whole, was strong and thriving in Birmingham because of the tight knit"bowling family", where every center, weak or strong, was there to help each other out and support one another when times got tough. I couldn't have been more wrong. As we worked the best we could and do whatever possible to restore the reputation that holiday had gotten due to the previous owner ( you know who you are) , every other center with no exceptions, quietly sat by the wayside and watched the oldest and still one of the most unique bowling centers in Birmingham fail and eventually crumble to non existence. It's really quite depressing. I never thought I'd see the day, but unfortunately I have, it has come and gone. So long Holiday bowl. It's been all in all, a pretty good 21 years, (my working and being around it). I hope that someone, the right someone, will once again bring you...

Not bad at all.. Food wise, I had their Carnitas Enchilada. They mix it with Jack cheese, pickled onions and green chili. It wasn't bad but certainly not 5 stars. The Alley just opened up so give...
