West Portal Pumpkin Patch — Local services in Bethlehem Township

Going to be generous with the stars because honestly it was a nice experience. However, upon paying for the pumpkins, the young lady at the scale was not personable in the slightest. When a little girl wants to put her baby sized pumpkin on the scale and you literally shoo her away with a hand gesture and nastily say’ “no no no that doesn’t need to go on there! They are $1.50” and hurt her feelings when she just wanted to participate. Disgusted and irritated me. . . and the logistics of a less than a pound pumpkin being $1.50 and not the advertised .75 per pound.. I mean besides the point, but while we are listing things that don’t make sense... I don’t think this gal should work in a place that primarily handles children with her less than...

We have been going to West Portal Pumpkin Patch for about 24 years! My 28 year okd daughter had off from school, and to celebther birthday she wanted to go to West Portsl Pumkin Patch to go on s hayraide, and pick some pumpkins! I suggested other places, but she said no, I want Weso Portal! So we arrive, and are approached by an employee who said, have you been here before? I ssid yes for about 24 years! She said well its different this year! She said its $15 per person , and everything is included! I said my kids are 28 and 20, they only want a pumpkin! Nope $15 per person!

We left! Never again!

They should charge adults differently than kids! My kids are not going on the playground! Little kuds...

I visited West Portal twice in the past month, first for the sunflower patch and then again for the pumpkin patch. The farm is beautiful and the scenery is stunning on the hay wagon ride. My second trip was with my two grandchildren and I'm sure they loved it as much as I did! They visited the farm animals, took a hay wagon ride to find the perfect pumpkin, explored the corn maze, and spent some time in the play area. It was awesome! I would definitely recommend visiting West Portal! I also had my porch decorated by Lauren. I was excited to see her decorations but never expected to see the amazing job she did! Can't wait until next...
