I just had an amazing experience with Big Bear Tiki Tours and had to share the highlights. Picture this: cruising around the stunning Big Bear Lake on a tiki boat complete with an authentic palapa roof. It's like stepping into a tropical paradise amidst the beautiful alpine setting of Big Bear.

The vibe is absolutely spot-on. The crew is super friendly and makes you feel right at home with their laid-back, island-style hospitality. The boat itself, The Oso Grande, is a marvel amd completely themed from stem to stern. What's really impressive is that it was hand-built by the owners/crew. Their craftsmanship and research into to tiki is evident in every detail, from the bamboo accents to the comfortable hammocks and the fantastic onboard bar. It was a labor of ❤️ and you can feel it. The drinks are top-notch, with a variety of handcrafted cocktails, both tradtional and neo-tiki, and non-alcoholic options to keep everyone happy. Partner and I split a Mai Tai, Painkiller, The Cadillac Painkiller, and The Privateer. The last 2 being the best of the bunch.

The tours offer a unique blend of Mountain Town and Tiki. A match made in heaven. We loved the sunset tour, where we got to watch the sky turn golden and reflect off the tranquil waters of the lake, all while sitting at both the bar and on of the the hammocks. It's truly a front-row seat to nature’s nightly spectacle.

One of the best parts is the flexibility of the experience. You can mingle with fellow adventurers or just chill and enjoy the ride. The crew is great at providing local insights and pointing out hidden gems along the shoreline, but they are accomidating and let you set the tone of your tour.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Big Bear Tiki Tour with Captain Lindsay and bartender Trevor, and it was absolutely phenomenal! This dynamic couple brings such a positive and attentive energy to the tour, making it an unforgettable adventure. We were so impressed with our first trip that we had to go twice!

The Tiki boat itself is a blast, with an incredible playlist and delicious drinks that enhance the fun atmosphere. For Labor Day weekend, we were treated to an amazing boat parade featuring colorful boats and a breathtaking drone show over the lake—an experience we’ll never forget.

The dinner provided was perfect for the occasion, with tasty burritos, chips, and salsa, adding to the already wonderful experience. Lindsay and Trevor are not only fantastic hosts but also genuinely nice people who make everyone feel welcome and connected.

The coolest experience! Me and my partner booked it randomly and whe are so glad we did! The place was a little hard to find as I felt the entrance/sign wasn't as visible to us, but some friendly visitors told us where to cross. Before the boat took off, They had a live band playing right next to the dock. That was such a cool experience. I recommend getting there a bit early just for that. We didn't really know where to check in, or if we needed to? But the boat operator and crew did introduce themselves and made us feel so welcomed. During our tour around the lake, drinks, music, and views were flowing. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and just a good time. We did a 7pm tour during summer. It did get chilly so bring a sweater! They also have plenty of blankets! If you're a true tiki fan, you will find the drinks to be amazing and on point (not too sweet/sour) and reasonably priced. They also have beer and non alcoholic. Oh and they are CASH ONLY. This was a great time, we can't wait to...
