There isn't a rating high enough to describe this experience! Absolutely beyond expectations in every manner. First, every arrangement was exactly as described PLUS some. We walked out of our lodge efficiency in the morning dark at 5:04am to find our guide waiting promptly by the vehicle greeting us by name with an enthusiasm that is rarely seen at 5am. The vehicle was in perfect condition and perfectly set up. (Chevy Suburban). The guide was an excellent driver who knew the roads well. The equipment was in impeccable condition. Plenty of high-quality viewing scopes and attachments for our phones to view and video through the scopes. Breakfast - homemade scones which were fabulous. Hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Plenty of snacks of all types throughout the day. A fabulous lunch set up in a relaxing stop watching bison graze. They even had a tablecloth. The food was not fancy, but was delicious - sandwiches with all the fixings, hummus, veggies, cheese, crackers, treats. The most important factor was our guide. Isaac. He was incredible. Not only was he a true outdoors person who had a deep, abiding love of nature, it was truly his life. His degree in the field. He has so much local knowledge of the wildlife. He was talkative and informative when appropriate and quiet and respectful when appropriate as we took in all the awe of the wildlife. We know that the wildlife can be unpredictable and often hard to locate, but Isaac ensured we were able to see the animals on our wish list. He worked hard to find them. We saw a black bear with 2 cubs, plenty of bison and elk and antelope. The two most remarkable sights were a wolf den with a wolf who emerged and slinked across the landscape to a bison carcass. The wolf powerfully dispatched and consumed the bison meat for over 30 minutes. The wolf traversed the land and then swam through 100 yds of water back to the den. We then through the devotion of Isaac, were able to put our scopes on a pack of wolves at another location. There were 14 wolves that we could count who made their way from the woods through a bison herd and across several plateaus. Isaac skillfully moved us down the road to advance viewing spots where we could continue to follow the wolves by leap frogging ahead of them. It was truly amazing. We also wanted to see mountain goats. It was actually the most challenging for us. But Isaac made sure we were able to spot them and put our scopes on them high up on the face of the cliffs. We had an extra gift of a badger. It was only 50 ft away and we were able to get close enough with our phone cameras to get some great shots. Isaac was in no rush to end the tour at exactly the stopping time. He spent time getting our photo at the Roosevelt Arch and giving us some ideas of what and where to see other high points throughout the park. This was entirely a first-class operation from beginning to end. Worth every penny! Worth getting up at 4am! Worth devoting an entire day! Worth doing again! Worth recommending to friends, family, and strangers. Sign up for this wolf and bear wildlife tour!

A Wilderness Symphony Unveiled: An Unforgettable Journey with Yellowstone Wild Tours Embark on an extraordinary adventure with Yellowstone Wild Tours, where nature's marvels come to life in an awe-inspiring 8-hour expedition through the northern realm of Yellowstone Park. Our guide, Emil, is not just a tour companion; he is a maestro orchestrating a symphony of wildlife, history, and culinary delights. From the onset, Emil's network of connections with fellow guides, biologists, local naturalists, and wolf experts became the backbone of an enriching experience. Their shared insights transformed our journey into a treasure trove of knowledge, revealing the secrets of the wilderness with passion and precision. Wildlife enthusiasts, rejoice! Our expedition gifted us sightings of majestic bison, graceful moose, elegant elk, fleet-footed white-tailed deer, spirited antelope, and the elusive coyotes. And, of course, the pièce de résistance – the wolves. Witnessing these creatures in their natural habitat was nothing short of magical, a testament to Yellowstone's untamed beauty. The midday pause for a delectable picnic elevated our experience. Fresh croissants melted in our mouths, complementing a charcuterie platter adorned with the finest cold cuts, cheeses, and crackers. As we savored each bite, we reveled not only in the flavors but in the essence of camaraderie that the meal fostered among fellow adventurers. Emil, our virtuoso guide, wove a tapestry of history throughout the journey. He shared the poignant tale of the park's wolves – their near decimation and the subsequent rebirth through reintroduction. We learned about the ecological dance between wolves and elk, understanding how the wolves restored balance to the once-tilted scales of nature. What sets Yellowstone Wild Tours apart is Emil's meticulous attention to detail. Every stop, every pause, presented the perfect tableau for capturing the essence of Yellowstone through our lenses. The result? A stunning collection of memories etched in pixels, each frame a testament to the wonder of the wild. Now, one might argue that the costs are high, but let us assure you – the investment is worth every penny. The value derived from the unique insights, the personalized experience, and the sheer magic of witnessing Yellowstone's grandeur under Emil's guidance is priceless. In the symphony of nature, Yellowstone Wild Tours orchestrated a masterpiece, leaving us inspired, enlightened, and grateful for the privilege of witnessing the untamed beauty of Yellowstone Park.

We had the most amazing time on our tour with Yellowstone Wild! I had chatted with a few of the reps on the phone before booking, and they were so easy to work with, thoughtful, and accommodating. We are a family of four, visiting Yellowstone with our sons (aged 11 and 9) - so making sure we booked a tour that would entertain everyone seemed like a challenge at first... Our boys were most excited about seeing wild life, while I was most interested in seeing all of the natural geo-thermal features. They assured us that they'd cater a tour to all of our interests.

When our guide, Kyle Moon, picked us up in the morning - my boys were instantly obsessed with him! He introduced himself by giving us a run down of his impressive background in biology, work experience, and wild life photography - and made sure to ask all of us individually what was most important to us for the tour. Before hitting the road, he made us coffees and hot chocolates - from there, we were off to find wolves! By sunrise, we were hillside with our binoculars, scopes, and recording equipment zoomed in on a pack of wolves playing in the valley - it was one of the coolest things we've ever seen. Kyle continued scouting and found that we were surrounded on all sides by herds of bison - before that we had been lucky to see 1 or 2 random bison throughout the park, so seeing 10s of 100s at a time was very exciting. After our wolf encounter, we headed further down our route and came across antelope, mountain goats, more bison, and even watched a coyote have a successful hunt. Kyle knew exactly where to take us to ensure we saw the most wild life possible - it was amazing and very cute to see my youngest son whip out his binoculars to help scout.

Besides wild life, Kyle explained all of the geo-thermal wonders of Yellowstone to us: mud pots, geysers, fumaroles, and hot springs - we definitely got an education and were shown beautiful features throughout - my favorite was the Grand Canyon! He also shared extensive knowledge on the history of Yellowstone, which I felt really helped my boys understand the importance of protection/preservation of our National Parks.

Kyle is so knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly - we left feeling like we made a friend (the boys said he was the highlight of their trip). He is also a beautiful photographer and offers wild life photography tours with Yellowstone Wild - something we will keep in mind for future visits and when recommending to our friends!

Thank you Yellowstone Wild and Kyle Moon! We had a wonderful...
