Attended the family fishing night. A truly fun experience. Everything you would need to fish was provided without charge. A representative from the Mass Division of Fisheries and Wildlife was present and brought the rods and was available for help if needed. The Rec Department of Billerica ran the event. The woman responsible was so friendly and personable. She handed out the bait and made sure everyone was all set. She then provided snacks, juice and ice cream for everyone. In the midst of fishing you could also just swim in the roped off area if you wanted and canoes were also available for the adventurous folks.
