Montana Rescue Mission West End Bargain Center — Local services in Billings

Thieves operate this store. Unfortunately today I bought a pair of shoes marked size 10. That's my size, so I grabbed them, and paid $10 for them which I know wasn't marked on the bottom as I looked because I have bought shoes here before. It turned out they were too small, so I looked inside the shoe, and, sure enough, they were 8m. Too small. So I go back to complain about the mismarking of the shoe which was their fault only to be told all sales final. What? Old white lady at counter said the best I can do is let you exchange them. Really? (Luckily for me I found my favorite brand of shoe in size 10m. Because that's how God looks out for me when I heathens try to die enfranchise God's faithful). Anyway, as we all know, as I have dealt with this cashier before, that the final price is ultimately an arbitrary call on the part of the cashier. I mean this is a thrift store! Not even a national chain link Goodwill or Salvation Army, so they know their customers aren't exactly rich. What's worse? It's the Christmas season when all of us CHRISTIANS should set aside our differences, and follow the word of God promoting charity and love. God ain't nowhere around this store. Yet half this store gleams with Christmas...

Bought a square card reader from the glass window in the front what is the point of having it in the glass case and it's already been opened and it doesn't work . Why would you put a price tag of 25$ on something used and not know if it works or is complete. I always go here and spend at least 80$ a visit . I stopped coming is because I got tired of getting beat by this store my money is hard to come by and I work hard for it and they do shady stuff this is not the first time I got broken stuff . This card reader is behind the registers this is unacceptable why sell incomplete stuff and it's at the register who is going to open up something at the register with other ppl in line waiting to check out. properly vet your stuff just don't put out anything same thing with the leaf blower I bought paid 20$ for didn't even work this place has just gone downhill it's all about pay for the employees it's not about honesty and the customers I don't see...

I used to really love this place but they’ve gotten so greedy with their prices. (Example: $65 for a stained wedding dress) I tried to buy a jacket from them but I couldn’t find a tag, so when I went to pay they refused to sell it in case it was worth more! Like what?? I guess I could understand if they accepted refunds so people didn’t try to return items they didn’t pay for, but all sales are final there so what’s the reason then?? I really wanted the jacket too. For a place that’s slogan (which is a Bible verse!) “For the plans that I have for you.” They are being very unchristian and NOT doing a good job at following it.
