Dollar General — Local services in Birmingham

The employees at the Dollar general store in Avondale Alabama I must say they are very nice to everybody regardless of our appearances let's say. It is a 360° attitude that is most welcome these days unlike the family Dollar on 1st Avenue North Woodlawn store and that is a shared opinion amongst most patrons I have come in contact with that subject of conversation is usually initiated to me I do not have to. The DG Employees are extremely nice accommodating I've been going to that store since the first day they opened I live only blocks away my fault I usually go in the evening sometimes prior to closing and they do not harass me remind me of the time follow me around like they do at the other place I mentioned they always wear their maskand and in turn for them being so nice to me usually when nobody is around to see I at times pick up litter stray carts that wander off on their own etc it's good karma, I could go on about a lot of positive things there but one thing I regret to share I am afraid that I may run out the Dollar general peanut butter with honey is a perfect mosified concoction the prices too low and none of the major brands can touch it as far as tast e spreadability none of it I average at least five yards a weekI keep k e p t i n my backpack and at times no spoon !? It is broad day light and the store is closed with some man standing inside at the door with arms folded, like he is the Dollar General bouncer. A woman with children and walking, walked up and was turned around because of some mediocre Dollar General associate. Dollar General, why is this store closed? Are you alright with being the neighborhoods go to store, but not really being there for the community. If you cannot be what you claim to be to the neighborhood, just shutdown completely. Your associates and you Dollar General are causing people who have no cars to be turned around, or that person who is sick and has no one else to help them come to a store to just be turned around and go somewhere else. Or that person who has no gas, has to drive farther than they actually can afford to drive. Or that person who has just enough money for YOUR PRICES ONLY TO BE TURNED AWAY AND GO WHERE NOW THEY WILL GET LESS FOR THEIR MONEY. MY POINT IS WE DEPEND ON YOUR STORE, DUE TO YOU CLAIMING TO BE ABLE TO PROFORM A SERVICE. YOUR ASSOCIATES HAVE YOU LOOKING BAD. MAYBE YOU ARE OKAY WITH MEIDOCRE WORKERS, BECAUSE YOU ARE MEDIOCRE AND THIS IS YOUR BEST. The Dollar General located at 3011 9th Ave North Bessemer Alabama 35020 My experience with this location is you may be in luck if they are actually open. It's 9am it's 2:30pm in the afternoon. It's 3:00 pm on a Friday afternoon and my local Dollar General is closed tightly. But there are a few staff members inside standing around telling us customers outside SO SORRY WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. WITH THE SAME REASON EACH AND EVERY SINGLE TIME. THE SYSTEMS ARE DOWN 👎. ITS STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR THIS LOCATION TO BE CLOSED ON A AVERAGE OF 3*A WEEK SOMETIMES MORE. WHY WOULD A BUSINESS NOT WORK DURING PEEK HRS? BOX AFTER BOX IN EVERY SINGLE ISLE NOT UNPACKED AND THE RESULTS OF THIS IS NO SUPPLIES ON SHELVES. I HAVE LITERALLY FOUND MYSELF UNLOADING BOXES TO FIND ITEMS NEEDED.
