Mile High Mercantile — Local services in Bisbee

I will never adequately be able to express the magic and fun we had at Gardens. From the entrance thru the huge trees to our parting wave, our stay was magical......no other word applies. Our hosts Henry and Rick made it so easy to make reservations and take advantage of all the amenities offered. Our room was the Gold room, with a comfortable living area, galley kitchen supplied with dishware and supplies. The bedroom has a huge comfortable bed. Extra bankets etc are supplied as well. Very comfortable after a busy day in Bisbee . We opted for a celebration cake, a small mountain of joy with several options and flavors. We chose a chocolate with raspberry and it is not to be missed. The next morning we chose the breakfast bowl, potatoes, cheese, bacon scallions, eggs all enhanced with a delicious subtle Chipotle sauce. The breakfast includes fresh orange juice. The servings are large as well.

We were at the Gardens for Halloween and what an exciting time we had. There was a Halloween party, complete with music, a huge spider and spider webs, ghosts and ghouls, magic shows, skits and stories all under the supervision of responsible adults and parents. The show has audience participation and is appropriate for children and fun for the adults. Not to be missed.

Next morning after a trip thru the enjoyable gift shop, with many fun options to choose from, we had to prepare to go home. Not to be missed are Henry's cookies.......as Henry himself states they are "evil" decadent and an absolute must. Full of nuts, chocolate chips and made fresh from the oven they truly are evil .

Bisbee has a new hidden gem called the Mile High Mercantile. During my stay at the Mile High Ranch, I stopped by to check out the Mercantile, and I instantly fell in love with it.

The Mercantile is beautifully decorated, and it’s clear that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to explore.

I was not looking for anything in particular, but I ended up with some unique treasures that I’ll be gifting to my loved ones.

What a fabulous charming store! Mile High Mercantile is part of the Gardens at Mile High Ranch where my wife and I recently celebrated a wonderful anniversary weekend. The store was filled with a wide variety of goods, something for everyone. Personally, I was enamored with the the carved out area filled with rock and mineral specimens.
