Considering it vital to my health and wellbeing I have been receiving professional massages for much of my adult life. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had a five-year absence in getting massages until this week.

Upon my arrival I noted that Sylvia and Ludo paid a great attention to detail, creating an environment that is serene and relaxing. I chose the full body experience of a Swedish massage.

In my 60+ years of having massages I know that every massage therapist brings his/her own unique style and talents but I had no expectations. During the session my sense of Ludo is that he works hard to relieve your tensions. His warm, "healing hands" are guided by his spirit and genuine care for one's wellbeing. With little tips here and there, he teaches as he moves through the treatment and demonstrates awareness of your body's sensitivities.

Besides getting the benefit of a regular massage, Ludo augments treatment with the use of hot Himalayan salt stones that contain several essential minerals and aid in the body's natural detoxification process.

The session ended with me having a sense of wellbeing, relaxation and looking forward to the next session. The hour passed far...

I've had my fair share of massages and I'm always leary of home experiences, whether in my home or theirs because I've had some experiences that just felt weird, even though nothing weird happened. This was far from the case with Shepherd's Touch. The environment is very professional, warm, and calming. Ludo and Sylvia are very welcoming. And Ludo clearly explains the process, what to expect, and makes you comfortable enough to ask questions. The massage was wonderful. I left feeling grounded and connected to everything. I believe in God and even felt a deeper spiritual connection. Peace and joy flowed from me. I've only had 1 other massage in my lifetime that left me so relaxed that all of the stress around me also melted away. Ludo is a true healer. I received a 90-minute consultation and massage for just $49 during a special—and it was worth every penny. I have a rare chronic condition, and Ludo took the time to research it before our appointment. That kind of thoughtful preparation made me feel genuinely seen and heard.

The massage was excellent—I left feeling calm, relaxed, and more grounded. I also used the red light (infrared) therapy, which added a gentle layer of healing without overstimulating my system. They do offer a sauna as well, though I wasn’t able to use it due to my condition—but it’s great to know they have it for others who can benefit.

Ludo’s wife Sylvia is a nutritionist, and together they offer a truly holistic approach to wellness. You can tell they care deeply about helping people heal—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
