A Touch In Time Gift Shoppe — Local services in Black Mountain

Sometimes when you take the road less traveled you never know what you stumble across. Stopped in at This beautiful home built in 1902 that was a Southern Hospitality Victorian Inn. The owner of the home, pictured with me, showed me the up most kindness. All of the pumpkins you see in the photo are grown from her patch and apples from her orchid. They had a lot of beautiful hand made items as well. This place gave me the complete fall feels 🍁. If you are ever in Bat Cave NC you should definitely make this one of your stops!

We stayed for several weeks across the road from A Touch in Time Gift Shoppe, and we bought several pecks of apples from there. The Cameo apples were about the best I've ever eaten. Candy, one of the owners, was so nice, she even brought us over a fresh baked apple crisp which we thoroughly enjoyed. Before we left we bought jams and jellies as gifts for friends and they have been a big hit. I haven't yet cracked open the Muscadine jelly.. hard to find, and so very Southern. I absolutely adore this shop and the owner, Kandi! A Touch In Time has the most unique local handmade gifts, delicious family owned farm fresh homegrown fruits and vegetables, holiday decor, and delightful company! I could sit on that gorgeous wrap around porch and chat with Mrs. Kandi all day! This is a special place, a little piece of heaven on the mountain! Stop by and experience it for yourself.
