Audiotronics — Local services in Blacksburg

Recently, we were part of a lightening strike in the neighborhood and some of our TV components were damaged. Kim Scott came out almost immediately to help us get back on line and restore service. He continues to check on us to make sure things are working properly. Mike Price has been an angel forever because we are technology challenged and constantly bug him about the controls and other "technology issues." He has always been patient and courteous with us. Justin Mann is our "go-to-guy" for all things computer related. No question is irrelevant and he is quick to diagnose problems and reassure us that our computers are functioning as they should.

We bought our first TV from Scotty's (now Audiotronics) back in the 60's when we first came to Blacksburg. We have bought every TV since then from Scotty's (now Audiotronics) and we would never consider purchasing one anywhere else. Think about it - The place has been in business for over 50 years! How have they managed to stay in business for this long???? This is unheard of!! They beat out the competition then, and they run with the big dogs of the big box stores now and successfully compete with them on a daily basis! The prices at Audiotronics are always competitive. Their service is spectacular, and their honesty, fairness, and integrity should be a model for businesses everywhere.

Having dealt with the business for approximately 50 years, I can truthfully say the personality and character of the business has not changed. The staff has the same attitudes now as it did back in the 60's - friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. I would never consider going anywhere else for my electronic...

Update 11/17/20: Audiotronics came out and fixed everything. They explained they had several medical issues that had caused them to drop the ball. With everything going on right now in the world that is understandable and they took responsibility for the issues. Often even just accepting responsibility very much speaks to the professionalism of the company. I very much appreciated them coming out to fix everything and would continue to do business with them. Now if I could just get Stateson to fix all their issues.

Old: Paid for an installation on a home in conjunction with the contracting company, but the end product was rather unfortunate. 2 of the outlets were placed in locations other than the plans, a 3rd I had to take apart to fix. The box that was installed had cat6 that was cut too short to run effectively out through the bottom of the utility box that was provided. None of the cables were capped, so apparently I only received a partial complete job. I made several attempts to contact the company and they stopped responding. I was already wary about doing business with them, but the contracting company said that's who they have an agreement with. I've already filed with the contractors on the improper install as well to which they agreed it wasn't done right once they came out and looked at it. I'm about $500 into my own time and tools now with unfortunately...

it's a small facility located just off exit 5a 460 bypass in Christiansburg/Blacksburg region. They offer repair services and products of a variety of equipment.

The lighting cord & power supply on my wife's iPad "went missing while she was at the hospital. we needed a new one quickly for her to do her school work. I called multiple places. including the cellular companies This was the only place that had one other than Best Buy, and Adiotronics was 3 dollars less per item than Best Buy.

When I called, the staff was patient, helpful and kind. they pulled the products for me and had then waiting for me at the register when I arrived. They were easy to find and knowledgeably answered every question I had, even as I continued to think of more once I was ready pay for the products.

they carry a variety of electronics, including flat screen led theater systems to cell phone and tablet accessories.

They have decent hours, the staff is very help , and the are in a fairly good location.
