Not only do I love our new sofa, but I had such a fun time shopping for it and being a part of the design process. Blackstone Emporium is not your average furniture store, but rather feels like an extension of your (dream) home. I walked in with an idea of what I was looking for, and Sharon listened as she guided me around the showroom, suggesting sofas I would not have otherwise considered. My favorite part was the fabric color options. I checked out half a dozen color swatches and brought home for a week. They weren’t your average little cloth squares either, but large pieces I could lay over an arm of a chair and literally sit with to get the feel for it in our space. My husband and I agreed on our color (Peony) and Sharon helped me design the perfect sofa for our space. We are so happy with our customized Broyhill sofa. Delivery was earlier than expected. I cannot say enough of this wonderful company and their fantastic customer service there. My father is living at the Woodland in Farmville (Long Term Care) facility. I live several hours away and his Chair Lift stop working. He has bad legs and needs his bandages changed every day. With not a lot of choices in Farmville, I cringe when I must look for local businesses to assist us. I was recommended to Blackstone Emporium after making several calls to business in Farmville. I am so glad I called them. The whole time working with Jo at Blackstone, I was thinking anytime now she will say what the others have said ( sorry we cannot help you), but she did not. She not only helped get the part ordered but she kept in touch with me through each stage of the process. Unbelievable customer service and at a very, very reasonable cost. Outstanding service and a wealth of knowledge is why we keep going back to Blackstone Emporium. We recently purchased split king mattresses to go with the frame we purchased a few months ago. We thought going in we knew what we wanted. After talking with Jo and Ben we decided to take a look at a different type of mattress. After two hours of trying to decide we listened to Ben and went with the Winndom mattress. This is our second Winndom, made right here in Virginia. I was a little reluctant to give up the one I thought I wanted for their recommendation BUT so glad I did. We love our new Winndom mattress.
