Older Lady manger had an attitude!! She was mad that I found more Clarence items that she didn’t pull & I showed her a 10% off to be taken at register like the sticker said. She went on to tell me anybody could’ve stuck it there instead of taking 10% off Jealousy ppl hate to see other score. I even told her she can pull her cameras right there in the dog treat section and see nobody stuck that sticker there that was for them. I bought them at five other Dollar General for the same deal and she gonna tell me she can’t honor it. Shoppers be aware. She said she’s been working there 22 years but yet still jealous and hating on shoppers- just sad.
Edit- 6/21 I went in here today and I heard the manager telling another customer about me saying yeah there’s that lady that likes to use different accounts. Like what should it matter to you as a manager?? you should be happy I’m in there to buy the stuff to get it off your stores stock. Not talking bad about a customer in front of other customers, and this lady was so loud you could hear her in the back of the store by the laundry products.    Read moreWill go to Springfield from now on. Easter Sunday, one cashier's first day and experienced cashier was having lunch in her car. New cashier had problems with the register and after being ignored by waving in the doorway, had to go to the car and get the other cashier. Next she couldn't find the keys to the cigarettes and a customer who had worked there had to show her how to get the faulty lock to work. Meanwhile, a long line has grown and still no help!! After I made my purchase I went to the car and told the experienced cashier she needed to help and open another register. Cashier tells me she is on her lunch break and the new girl already had hers!! I said, I don't care, be a decent human being and help her. She said don't talk to me like that with attitude!!! I paused..
And said PLEASE go help her and just stood there outside her car, talking through the window. She finally came to conclusion that I wasn't going to leave and returned to the store with attitude. As a customer, I have choices and will shop in Springfield in the future. This is not the first time I've seen bad management at this store but it WILL...
   Read moreIf o could give zero stars I would, first the store can't keep employees, they are always understaffed, second management is by far the worst thing for that store, I can see why they don't keep employees the manager will literally be little a employee in front of customers and treat them like trash. Third management there will also treat customers like trash and is always banning people from the store, no wonder people will go to Barnwell, as they should, stay far from this store, at least in Barnwell they are kind and nice and respect their employees...
