My experience here has been great. My fiance and I got a special where our first and last month of our 1st year lease was free. This helped us save so much money. The managers are always available to talk, the unit size is perfect. I’m giving it a 4 for everything that is what I feel like is inconvient to me. First, there’s no trash chute so I’m constantly walking ALL THE WAY DOWN which is fine but it’d be better with one. Second, the parking spaces (both the garage and outside) are a tad bit narrow. I never know if I’ll have enough room to get out of my car. Third, (they removed it) but for a while, there was some metal thing outside the bedroom window that made so much noise when it rained. Literally the “I aint get no sleep cause of yall, yall ain’t get no sleep cause of me” noise. Because of this, when it rained, my fiance and I dragged our mattress and slept in the living room. Fourth, I don’t know if this is common, but we get so much water stains. I’ve tried everything from dish soap cleaner to CLR cleaner. It’s gotten better but I’ll have to find a better solution to this. Fifth, this is just a personal preference but we use Bilt now which is how we pay rent. I’m not a fan of how we can’t split payments so I’m constantly venmoing my fiance to pay rent. But you do get rent credit which is awesome because you can use it towards rewards. Now minus these inconviences, the apartment is great! I’ve been here 1.5 years and I’m loving it so far. My cat also loves it which is a plus for me because I can’t live without my cat. It’s a good starter apartment!
Update: My fiance and I have officially moved out! I do miss the apartment dearly. Management definitely makes sure the building is clean and kept tidy. It was nice walking into the building and it smelling nice! I also liked that new management added more trash and recycling bins in the garage because previously, one trash and one recycling bin was NOT enough. A down side I didn’t like was the new policy of reserving the community room. From what I’ve heard, I don’t think $50 an hour is worth it. If anything, it would make the residents use it less because no one wants to pay extra for using a room. Maybe it would be better to have the residents put deposit down that gets returned if the room is kept in good condition. I also think a trash chute should be added for convienence and making the parking spots wider. My fiancé’s truck got hit by another car and we couldn’t find that person so we eventually gave up looking for them. Otherwise, I don’t have any complaints within the unit itself. Would recommend these apartments for anyone...
Read moreMy husband and I have lived here for nearly a year, and while we initially enjoyed our experience, our satisfaction has significantly declined since the property was sold to new management midway through our lease.
Recently, our groceries were stolen from directly outside our unit door. We immediately contacted the leasing office and requested they review the security camera footage. We were told someone would follow up, but it’s been over a week, and we’ve heard nothing back, despite calling multiple times. This level of unresponsiveness is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
This wasn’t an isolated incident. We've also had packages stolen, even though there is a package concierge system in place which clearly isn't being properly managed or enforced.
Additionally, amenities that were previously free now come with added costs. Underground parking is no longer complimentary. Reserving the club room is now $50 per hour. Utility charges have increased, and the new reservation system for community spaces is outdated and inconvenient. There’s no public calendar to see availability, making it unnecessarily difficult to plan events.
Cleanliness has also deteriorated significantly. The hallways, lobby, garage, and especially the front entrance consistently smell foul and are not maintained to an acceptable standard.
Given the rising rent, parking, and utility costs, the value we’re receiving no longer matches the price we’re paying. Other apartments in the area offer better amenities and services for the same or lower price.
Before the change in ownership, we had planned to remain here until we were ready to buy a home. Unfortunately, we’re now actively looking to move elsewhere and cannot, in good faith, recommend this property to others under its...
Read moreThis building was recently acquired by a new management company. I can tell you that they are now keeping the building cleaner than the previous management company which I appreciate. However the new system for booking the community room is archaic and could use some updating. I booked several events with the previous ownership but the new system of having to contact the leasing team to find out what's available simply doesn't make sense. There should be a portal so we can see the calendar out at least 90 days to determine when to block off the room. Also I think $50 per hour for the room is on the high side of what I've seen at other apartments like this. Also I believe that the price for a two bedroom is higher than what it should be given the location is right next to a freeway and significantly north of the Metro. Also I believe when you allow dogs you should not have carpeted hallways as they get stained and are smelly in the summertime. Overall it's pretty quiet and the other tenants are very respectful. I do feel like the building is a safe place to live. I just don't believe that it's worth what they are charging per month for rent. If it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper and they had a better system for booking common areas I would be...
