Two Men and a Truck Moving — Local services in Blair Township

I can’t recommend this company at all as their business practices are far below any reasonable standard. Multiple reviews confirm substandard business practices. I will post more later, but suffice it to say that they pulled a classic bait and switch, and nearly doubled the cost of moving ONE item ONE day before we were scheduled, AFTER confirmation of the move. They don’t have any legal agreement to honor so you’re left finding a new mover one day in advance. They also nickel and dime you for fuel surcharges and any miles over 40. My advice is to look elsewhere first. This company does make scheduling easy, but you are at their ARBITRARY whim as to whether or not your job will be completed. The business will say that they were taking precautions to ensure that the job was completed appropriately, but doubling the cost one day in advance wasn’t the right thing to do. Other companies provide the same service AND honor their verbal and written commitments (even if it’s not a legal requirement). They didn’t ask appropriate questions and then backed out on me. Great experience working with Two Men and a Truck to move my grandparents from Metro Detroit to Northern Michigan. It was extremely easy to use the website to get the request rolling. I worked with Shana mostly via text to discuss our moving needs and desired time frame. The online furniture and belongings estimate tool was easy to use and helpful to plan out the move. The technology utilized made everything smooth and efficient with crystal clear expectations of cost and service. But the absolute best part of this move were the moving team. David and Guadalupe kept me up to date on timing via phone calls and were there when they said they'd be. Their packing skills were outstanding. Everything was extremely protected and they were cautious and fast at the same time. They were super friendly and easy to work with and they took a lot of extra care and detail. My move was during the busy season so office staff was understandably overworked but got my move scheduled for the days I needed. Pricing was high for my small amount of items but in northern MI our options are limited. My movers, Crayton & Zach were OUTSTANDING! They went above & beyond my expectations. They are the hardest working individuals I have ever encountered, basically, running back & forth from the truck loading & unloading my items. They carefully handled, wrapped and packed every single box, piece of furniture, etc from my most precious Tiffany Chandelier to my gardening tools with as much care as if I was doing it myself. If you can request your movers, then I highly recommend you ask for Crayton & Zach, you will not be disappointed but pleasantly rewarded by their integrity and work ethic.
