An update/response to their response. So an response to there claim. It was reported Friday night because that's when I got home. Second the AC unit is located on the upper floor in the ceiling, please show me where it came through the ceiling then through the floor then through another ceiling. The technician chaz admitted that the water all over the PC was caused by him blowing the line out. Third this "waterfall" of a leak that you seem to be implying was just a couple drops that was coming through the intake grate that is in the ceiling because the evaporator pan was full. So after maybe an 1/8 cup of water got off the floor I drilled a hole in the pan to make sure it would drain properly. Also this all happened about a week before I called you to come fix because I did try to see if it was something I could do. Before you say anything no I did not shove anything down any line or try to blow the lines out. Again this was going on before you were called. No issues or water damage to any of our property. It was only after you showed up to fix it and chaz admitted to the damage.
Just got off the phone with Jeremy and he is now blaming me for the damage that was done. There own service tech admitted to the damage. Had them come out to clean a clogged drain from our A/C unit that is in the attic. After blowing the line out there was water all over my PC desk,a huge scratch in my gaming monitor and water in my PC case causing damage to my MSI RTX 4090 liquid suprim graphics card. I have been trying to communicate with them and there has been little to no communication back from them. I had several remotes I had to put in a bag of rice to dry out. There was damage done to my PC,which I had to get taken apart asap and dried out. 1 of the ram sticks were damaged. They still refuse to rectify the situation. I have used them in the past with zero issues and have enjoyed the work they have done, but with 3500-4000 dollars in damage done and refusing to make it right...
Read moreWe've had Rabe Hardware install or repair multiple projects in our house: whole-home generator, air purification system, water softener, sump pump.
But our latest project was a mini split heating/cooling system in our master bathroom. My husband and I had a dilemma... our master bathroom is chilly in the morning, so we've been using a space heater. Probably not a great idea to combine electricity just feet from an open shower. However after a shower and blow drying long hair, I'm SUPER hot! Hot/cold, Hot/cold...what's the answer?! I contacted Rabe Hardware and asked about a mini split heating/cooling system. Problem was, outside-facing wall space was limited in our master bathroom. This did not deter the Rabe team from searching to find a different model of mini split that not only looks FABULOUS and CONTEMPORARY, but solves our not-so-agreeable temperature needs.
I can't say enough about the Rabe team's work ethic and attention to detail. From the minute they arrived, they are professional, competent and work so efficiently. They involve us in all decision making to ensure we won't have any surprises after installation. Everything is done with such precision, including tarps laid down to protect our carpet. Everything is cleaned up practically better than before they arrived. The guys were so great in explaining the remote control settings.
The real test came the next morning. Overnight temps dropped to the 30s. We close our bathroom door at night to block out the light. It was a chilly 64 degrees in there to start! We fired up the mini split to "jet" heat mode, and 10 minutes later? A balmy 77 degrees! No shivering in the shower! AND... we were pleasantly surprised to see, even in heat mode, it combated the humidity! Our shower is open with dual shower heads, so before, even with the vent running, mirrors were fogged over and the light fixtures and counter top were literally sweating with humidity. Best investment we've ever made! Thank you...

Just really sad that we have done business with them for years and they ruined my sons PC that I built for him a little over a year ago. Its sad that they did not even try to resolve the damage they caused. Its sad because they always did good work and was always happy. Now we have to find someone else to do work and I have to find someone to fix the issues they did not even fix. After the damage to our property they never fixed the issue. The service technician even admitted to the damage. My family is stressed out already because our son is overseas fighting and protecting our country and now I have to pay to fix his PC and gaming monitor that they damaged. I am glad that my son is fighting for their right to be horrible...
