Food Lion — Local services in Blakely

Food Lion is my go to place to shop, nearly every day. Today, after church, my kids and I stepped in to get what we needed for the week. The store was stocked great and we were able to get exactly what we came in for. The cashier's attitude was not pleasant as she continued to turn around telling the cashier behind her "they don't know who they playing with, coming in here like we just supposed to jump for them. She can go make her own bread, cuz these folks don't know who they playing with." Not once were we greeted or thanked and really weren't even acknowledged because she was upset with the previous customer. All I could think was, Jesus. We all need to remember to give our best customer service and be professional. Sunday's are a pretty busy day for grocery, as people are getting out of Church and stopping by for their needs. I hope that the conversation ended as we left and that other members in the community doesn't have to hear it. Someone talk to this young lady and let her know that her behavior...

I went in there after a nightshift at the hospital. Cashier found a significant amount of money on the floor that her previous patron had dropped. She chased him out the door to return it. Now that, imo, is worth my patronage....
