
If we could give this place more stars we would!! We contacted them because they are a Yamaha dealer because we had just purchased a New Viking to be used in the State Park we host at. We had seen other host with side by sides that were tagged with slow moving tags so we didn’t think twice about it. We told the store manager (owner) where we bought it from EXACTLY why and what it would be used for. The guy has been in business with Yamaha for 44 years so you would have thought he would know it could never be used for what we bought it for. He even let us pay him to make it street ready knowing it was an off road vehicle ONLY.. It was titled as an AT.. the only tag we could get was an ALL PURPOSE VEHICLE tag which only allows you to cross a highway.. Our fault for not researching and for trusting someone that just wanted to make a sale… Anyways we contacted Buckeye Custom Carts and told them what happened and ask if we could trade on a custom cart. Mariah contacted her boss, the owner and told him what happened and he said yes that he would trade us and that we could have anything and everything we wanted on it! It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! We are now the proud owners of a 2024 Customized Yamaha D2 with a 4” lift and custom seats, extended roof, lights over and under and a stereo system plus huge rims and tires and everything else you can think of!! These people went above and beyond to make it exactly what we wanted.. Everyone that has seen it is in AWE!!! They say they have never seen anything like it!!! Thank you! Thank you! Read moreI have used Buckeye Custom Carts in the past with good results, however this year was a different story. I contacted Buckeye Custom Carts one week before Halloween to rent a golf cart for beggars night. I have an Autistic son that really gets excited about riding in the golf cart on Halloween (He looks forward to this for months). I also have and 80 year old father that likes to go out and watch the kids in their costumes. He is not able to make the walk but with the golf cart he can ride around and participate. I contacted Buckeye carts the week before Halloween this year and set up the rental cart to be delivered on Friday October 30th(the day before Halloween). Buckeye agreed to this and said that they would deliver the golf cart the afternoon of the 30th. After I waited around the house all afternoon Friday, Buckeye calls me at 4:30 to say that they cannot get the golf cart to me that day BUT would be dropping the cart off to me between noon and 12:30 the next day (Halloween day). On Halloween day they never came, No Call ,No contact at all.... They just blew it off completely. My autistic son was VERY upset that we would not be having the golf cart to use that night. So much so the he shut down and did not trick or treat at all. My father also was upset that he would not be able to make it around that evening with my kids..... Buckeye, If You CANNOT provide something, DO NOT SAY THAT YOU CAN. And if you CANNOT Make IT then MAKE a DAMN PHONE CALL!!!!! I hope that this review will sway others not to use your company by informing them as to the type of care you take with customers that count on you to deliver what you say that you will. I will also be sure to share this story with my many personal clients as to stay away from doing any business with Buckeye Custom Carts.

Quick turn around, great experience.......but I noticed when I got home that they failed to re-install the battery hold downs for two batteries (they are GONE), and failed to tighten the bolts on two others. I called and Mike said they'd check and call me back shortly. 24 hours later he had not called me so I called him and he still had not looked into it but said would order replacement parts. After three weeks with no call back I called him and said he had the vertical hold down rods (said they were on back order) but was now waiting on the plastic hold downs that go on top (also on backorder). I can get the parts on Amazon OVERNIGHT, but he cannot call me back a 3 weeks later? I'm done waiting on him. His backorder stories are BS. I see all good reviews for him, which good for him, but different than my experience. 10/12/20 Now well over a month later and multiple promises from Mike to get the parts, I finally did the amazon overnight and fixed this minor issue on my own. HORRIBLE follow up and customer service on such minor issue. Mike has NEVER returned a call of mine, I've had to call him every time. 10/15/20 After sending Mike an email on 10/12 telling him that I had purchased and installed the parts myself, he leaves me a voice mail on October 14 telling me that my parts are in.
