We first had Burgitto when they had a food truck and they offer a lot of the same. They call them burgittos but you can think of them as almost panini pressed crunchwraps (from taco Bell) with a bunch of different things in them.
The first time I had the Italian which is a burger, marinara and fried cheese in their pressed wrap. It was great enough that made me excited to go again when they opened this physical location. When I came here this time I got the chicken cordon bleu. I liked them both. They also offer a southern type breakfast during breakfast hours.
Now they lose 2 stars for two important reasons. 1: they will not win any rewards for quickness. Even with the place only a quarter filled it took a good forty minutes + to get our food. Time would pass by a little quicker if they had music or something playing. The second reason they lost a star is their bathroom situation. You have to go outside to get the bathroom, which in itself isn't a problem, but they have the outside door push into a small area and the bathroom door also swings open into this area. So you have to squeeze between both doors in order to get into the bathroom. Anyone that is semi over weight or older will not be able to get to the bathroom at all. I'm not sure how they are allowed to operate a restaurant with a bathroom a lot of people can't get into. I've attached a picture below to show you.
We will probably be back. They might pick up speed as they get used to the physically location. I really hope someone gets some common sense and redesigns the bathroom section. As a side note. Burgittos run around five to six dollars and don't come with sides. I had one with french fries (another 2.99) and was overly full. Next time I'll probably skip the fries. With me, the wife and 3 kids (and tip) it ended up being 56 dollars. The food is good, but I don't think it's 56 dollars good for what you get. These are just modified burgers and sandwiches after all. The last thing I was to bring up, our server brought us 3 napkins for 5 people only after we asked. And never once checked in to see if we wanted refills (even though we sat there waiting so long for the food) . Luckily another server was paying attention and took care of it when...
Read moreI have been told to try Burgitto Bistro for a while now. I finally did. The food was delicious. Honestly, it is unique and yummy. I will go back, but not often. The downside is the restaurant itself. The moment we walked in I could smell the mustiness. I tried to overlook it and convinced my husband to eat in the dining room. However, in the time it took to have my food cooked, I was overwhelmed with the musty smells to the point of coughing and needed to walk outside to breathe. It didn't exactly feel clean either. I don't understand it. They have such an amazing opportunity with their menu but show nearly 0 amount of love for their atmosphere. I think it would do wonders to possibly have picnic tables outside. I also believe that if the outside of the building had a little decorating and the inside was clean and refreshing, this restaurant could be amazing and a real popular go-to...
Read moreNew eatery. Far end of Morrow off 22/3. Don't let the outside fool you, there's some deliciousness going on inside. It's like taking a hamburger sans bun and replacing it with a tortilla. Then pressing it like a cuban or a panini. Burger + Burrito = Burgitto.
I had the Italian. Burger with provolone and marinara and fried mozzarella cheese sticks. I added pickles to make it like a hoagie. It was less than $7. And it was good sized. My wife got the fish and chips, I think around $10. 4 medium sized pieces of fish and a large helping of waffle fries. My daughter couldn't finish her kids meal burgitto and fries.
Their pieces are very reasonable. They were very attentive. Not many folks know about it. A nice change of pace from the usual for...
